Friday Food

There are some days when I can think of a million things I want to eat, but today was one of those weird days when I have no clue what to eat. That's pretty much why I started this blog, for people having days like this. Anyway, I took today off work, so lunch was at home -- a Bologna Sandwich on WF's Pretzel Bread.
Dinner was a Chesapeake Tempeh Cake and a baked Sweet Potato...
Dessert was WF's Creamy PB & some Chocolate Chips...
Hard to believe, but a lot of thought went into these choices. Plus lots of Liberty Creek Cabernet
Sauvignon...

I'm definitely ready to try those tempeh cakes. Your dessert reminds me of the "era" that I was addicted to smearing peanut butter on Newman's chocolate bars...

I've never seen that pretzel bread before! I want some! I am having the same issue this morning. I am starving and need breakfast, but everywhere around me is selling sausage and eggs :( I could use a good tofu scramble right about now.

Yay for a day off work! Those tomatoes look delish. I was just noticing that the Lightlife "ham" tastes more like bologna, at least I think so ... same animal, right?

Hello, Ladies!

The Tempeh Cakes are really great and not that difficult to make. Pretzel Bread is becoming really popular -- it's just like a big soft pretzel. The cake is still in the fridge, it'll be making lots more appearances. Happy Weekend;-)
