Lunch was a massive Chesapeake Tempeh Cake (that tragically broke apart when I plated it) and Ian's Onion Rings.
Dinner was Chickpea Cutlets with Mustard Sauce (Vegenaisse & Dijon 50/50 stirred up w/Capers), Roasted Zucchini and Rice & Beans. (Yes, I thought I'd eat some green sh*t to break up all the beige and brown sh*t I usually eat).
Dessert was more delicious beigish brown sh*t -- I mean cake!
Lots of Liberty Creek Cabernet Sauvignon.

All my favorite foods are beige-ish: mac and cheese, burritos, peanut butter, biscuits, most sandwiches...I am totally pro-beige power!!!!
Bottom line: looks good, I'd eat any of this and ask for seconds.
Oh, and hummus!
Haha! this post totally made me laugh. Too funny!
Lets see...
muffins, noodles, granola, cereal, ice cream, applesauce, nuts of all kinds, tempeh, beans, rice...
Yep, I guess Im also Pro-beige power!

"Dessert was more delicious beigish brown sh*t....." you are horrible!!
loved this post, everything looked so good omgosh. your poor greens look so....uncomfortable..
I don't think you called out the red in the tempeh cakes. Even falling apart, that is a good dish. I've only made it once, but I should do it again soon. Yum. I bet those went really well with onion rings.
I'm proud of you for throwing in a token green side. ;) Poor Beige Food - don't make them feel like you're not proud of them, too.
Love the "ode to brown and beige". Tres drole.
Hello, Ladies! Yes, I must embrace my love of brownish foods. Can't be who I ain't.
