Holy crap that carrot muffin looks AMAZING!! Looks like a great way to start off your long day! The soup looks really satisfying too. That was nice of Mr. SV to make his specialty for you after your long day :) That tart looks beautiful! Again you demonstrate your impressive restraint!

Agreeing with Sarah - the muffin really looks divine. You'll have to stock up next visit.

I've seen that soup on the hot bar. How is it?

I third how awesome that muffin looks. Nice & chunky. That place really makes some amazing food!

The tart sounds pretty delicious, too, as does that tofu. Was there something in the tofu or is that just the coating on it?

I love tarts! It looks beautiful. What do you think made the muffin so good? It certainly does look different from others I've seen - less homogenous.

The muffin looks so dramatic from that angle- and full of goodies like actual carrot! Lentil-y soups are so good when done right... I havent had one in a while now.
The comfort food dinner is so perfect for a monday, very echos of childhood meals for me (i was 10yrs old when i went veg so pasta was what mom made for me most often...)

Haha, nope, not advertising, and definatly shy of the serious paycheck.....

Hey Now!!!

VaVa, the Muffin was too good a start. In fact, it was probably all down hill after breakfast!

Ingrid, I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but I'm not recommending the Moroccan Lentil Soup at this time.

RVs, what we lack in HoneyPie Cafe, we make up for in Le Pain Quotidien;-) Nothing inside the Tofu, just all grilled up with good Asian sauce on the outside.

FF, I agree, tarts definitely make the world a better place. The Muffin was an explosion of cakey and chewy textures alongside with sugary flavors combined with beautiful colors....you just had to be there.

Unknown, I didn't go Veg till 12, so you win that one. My Mom always made a big pot of Lentil Soup so I was a farty teen. You're definitely on the fast track to the six figure salary, I can tell that much.
