Monday, November 26th

Raisin Walnut Toast with Tofutti Cream Cheese for breakfast. The office fire alarm went off just as I was about to chow down. I refused to go outside and leave my toast to get cold. It was a false alarm, so I was smart to stay put and eat.
The Mediterranean Mix $5.99 from Perfect Pita for lunch. It's a massive amount of food (a cube of feta cheese that comes with it was brought home for the pups). Stuffed as I was, I still followed up with lots of TJ's Chocolate Covered Raisins because they were in my desk drawer.
Mr. SV brought in Green Curry Tofu for me from Thai Deelish for dinner.
Coming up tomorrow: Looking forward to toasting the Waffles I made and enjoying with some Maple Syrup.

Very nice of Mr. SV to bring home such a great dinner!

I love that you wouldn't leave your toast when the alarm went off. Must be some good toast!

I wouldn't leave my desk either - that toast looks pretty phenomenal. I sure hope there was a pita with the Perfect Pita lunch.

The mediterranean mix looks excellent! So does the curry. I like fire alarms, because it's an excuse to leave your desk...but if I had yummy food in front of me, I don't know; I might stay, or I might just bring it with me...either way, I wouldn't be parted from my grub either.

Hahaha! If there actually were a real fire, yr toast would have stayed plenty warm. When I was in HS the chemistry labs would set the fire alarms off on a regular basis so we all sat there waiting to die for 5 minutes until the inevitable announcement came on the speaker.
Anyway, fantastic looking Mediterranean lunch. What is on the right, that kind of looks like salsa?

Oh man, you rebel staying at your desk! Glad it was a false alarm :) That toast does look pretty damn great too.

I am so incredibly jealous of your Mediterranean lunch. I wish it was in front of me now actually. Stuffed grape leaves and hummus for the win! Very nice of Mr. SV to bring home that yummy dinner!

I'm looking forward to you enjoying another waffle tomorrow too :) Can't wait to make a big batch this weekend for the freezer!

Hey Now!!!!

Molly, it was fantastic toast. Especially with the Tofutti Cream Cheese. Worth risking my life for.

Ingrid, yes, a piece of Pita came with the lunch. Couldn't fit it in the frame. Guess you're used to tweens pulling the fire alarm as a prank.

Rose, it was 40 degrees and still dark outside when the alarm went off. Otherwise, I might have pondered stepping outside to kill some time.

FF, your high school sounds very caring. The salsa stuff in my Mediterranean Mix is what the middle eastern Sheep herders ate. It's called 'Shepherd Salad' Finely chopped tomatoes, onions and fresh parsley tossed in a vinaigrette.

VaVa, will you be making a different Waffle recipe? I'm hoping to try Buckwheat as well as Chocolate Waffles.
