Friday, November 9th

The other half of my Pumpkin Crumb Cake from Natalia's Elegant Creations for breakfast.
Lunch was the House Salad Bowl $10.95 at Wildfire. I see they have a Veggie Burger on the menu now. I will try to find out if it is vegan.
That would be enough food for most people, but afterwards, I came home and had a half an Eggless Egg Salad Sandwich.
Field Roast Hazelnut Cranberry Roast en Croute with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Steamed Broccoli for dinner.
Mocha Fudge Ice Cream and an Uncle Eddies Vegan Cookie for dessert.
Coming up tomorrow: More pics of my food.

Looks like a delicious day! So glad you decided to have those olives after all.

I am going to see if the Field Roast is on sale this week - I think we're close enough to the holiday to make it happen.

Remy is going to the groomer's tomorrow morning. I'll be sure and get a picture. :)

Ooooh what a great day! It has to be a great day if you have pumpkin crumb cake and a gorgeous salad in your belly! That is a serious salad, it looks so great. Hopefully the veggie burger is vegan!

Oh man that dessert looks so good!

Looks like an okay salad for a place whose tagline is "steak chops & seafood." Hopefully the veggie burger is vegan. I had one of the best vegan burgers ever at a place that has one of those awful silhouettes of a cow on their sign.

That pumpkin crumb cake looks like a perfect breakfast treat.

You've convinced me to get the Field Roast for our Thanksgiving dinner. Mike has agreed to it, despite the cranberries. :)

Whoa, I've never seen a house salad like that! Love the dinner, too.

Hey Now!!!

Ingrid, awww! Will the groomer put a dashing little bandana on Remy after his spa visit?

VaVa, I work and plan so hard to make sure I have great food days. Bad food days are horrible.

Miss Rachel, at least Wildfire has a few items that can be 'veganized' (I have them leave off the Eggs and Croutons). The worst are restaurants where there is not one item that can have something left off and become vegan. So depressing.

Molly, how are we supposed to know how your T'giving turned out if you're not gonna blog? I'll try to show how I bake my Field Roast over the next few days. I don't bake the entire Roast at once. I just slice off a few pieces at a time to bake for about a half hour.

Blessed Mama, the Artichokes really make the House Salad something special.
