WTF Thursday

Grape Nuts with Almond Milk for breakfast. Eggless Egg Salad for lunch...
followed by some Yves Salami with Vegenaisse...
My homemade Seitan has de-rubberized after almost two weeks of sitting in its own broth. I regret having bad-mouthed it previously. Tonight, it was good fried in oil and topped with Heinz-57. But, then again, what isn't?
A piece of the Peanut Butter Bar I bought at Common Market for dessert.
Coming up tomorrow: Grapefruit for breakfast, Hummus On A Bagel for lunch.

I'm seriously craving grape nuts now. I think you and Ingrid control my breakfast cravings between the grapefruits and now the grape nuts.

That open faced lunch looks great and that is great that the seitan has a better texture now! The dessert sounds so good! You always have the best desserts!

What recipe did you use to Make the seitan? They're cute little blobules. The egg salad looks pretty great; I should probably make some soon.

I used to eat Grape Nuts all the time for breakfast with peanut butter and banana. I forgot all about that glorious breakfast until now!

That's great that the seitan de-rubberized like that. I hate throwing out food if it doesn't turn out.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, you'll be happy to know that Grape Nuts still taste exactly the same as they used to.

FF, it was the Steamed Seitan Cutlet recipe from Veganomicon. I'm not recommending it. I'll try a different Seitan recipe next time.

Molly, I've never put PB on cereal. How odd. Something has to be really heinous for me to throw it out.
