The usual breakfast.
Instead of Cheesecake Factory, lunch was at Legal Seafood, where at least there is one vegan item on the menu. The 'Vegetarian Box $19.95 Asian flavored stir-fried Vegetables, Thai Red Coconut Curry Sauce (didn't see any evidence of this), Cashews, Tofu and Brown Rice. Must've had about 2,000 calories and a cup of MSG but I ate it all.Field Roast Frankfurter and Tater Tots for dinner. Still no dessert. I guess my body is still adjusting to this unseasonably warm weather we've been having.
Coming up tomorrow: Taking my annual 'Personal Day'. How will this impact my food choices?

Your lunch looks like it was really good! Does The Cheesecake Factory have vegan options? There's one in Milwaukee but I've never been there.
I highly doubt there's 2,000 calories in that lunch! It looks delicious! According to the Vegan Express app (it gives you vegan options for tons of fast food and chain restaurants) there are quite a few vegan options at Cheesecake Factory. Check out the app, it is great!
Dinner looks great, especially those tater tots! Glad that you escaped the Cheesecake Factory!
Hope you enjoy your personal day! Can't wait to see your meals :)
Why would you have gone to the Cheesecake Factory? I'm also surprised there's a vegan option at Legal Seafood. It looks great, anyway.
One personal day a year - I'd go insane. I hope you get the most out of it.
$19.95 is a lot of money for lunch if you ask me. Did your company pay for it? It does look good though.
How does a personal day differ from a vacation day?
Please explain how that plate could possibly cost $20!?!? Nonetheless, I bet it was good - can't go wrong with cashews, tofu, veggies, and brown rice.
Is this personal day in celebration of something that happens every year, on the same day? I hope so, I'm taking mine off! :)
yeah i'm with everyone else...$20 is ridiculous! but it does look quite delicious, i'd be happy to know if it was any good.
I don't watch my $$ as closely as I should, but it annoys me when places seem to mark up the vegan stuff to a ridiculous degree.
I almost went on a rant there WRT the artificially low cost of animal flesh, but decided not to. Hope your personal day rocks the casbah.
Yipes, for $20, I would have had the waiter recheck on that sauce for me. Interesting that you chose a seafood place to go to. Was it work related?
Good to hear you got off the hook with the Cheesecake place. The lunch looks good, but 20 bucks? I hope you were on a work outing and the company paid for it.
Also, you got a really nice a effect on the breakfast pic, with the grapefruit in the background.
Have a great personal day Friday, Shen!
Hey Now!!!!
Molly, a search of the internet didn't turn up any vegan options at CF for me (except for Guac & Chips). VaVa may have other information...
VaVa, can you give me some of the vegan options please? I know I'm going to have to be going this year.
FF, my mother has gift cards to numerous chain restaurants around the area. My company gives one 'personal day' a year in addition to regular vacation and sick leave. The personal day can't be carried over to the next year so I always use it first.
Miss Rachel, my mother paid for lunch. My lunch was over-priced, I agree. A 'personal day' is lost at the end of the year, whereas a 'vacation day' can be carried over.
Ingrid, I agree, the dish was not worth $20. More like $8. So glad you got a day off as well.
Kimberly, it was a pretty good dish. Not $20 good.
Stacy, agreed 100%. Maybe if more people order the vegan entree, the price will go down?
Blessed Mama, no just lunch with my mother. You know you would buy one of the Blessings a $20 lunch if that's what the vegan option cost. Fortunately, I don't go to many work-related lunches.
Rose, my mother footed the bill (with a gift card from my sister). It was an okay personal day. Didn't accomplish much.
