Thursday, February 16th

It was nice to get back to some juicy Grapefruit for breakfast this morning.
Lunch was a bowl of Mushroom Barley Soup...
...and Cucumber Avocado Sushi.
The rest of the Curry Supreme from Sunflower for dinner. This is no where near as great as it used to be. Mr SV disagrees.
Half a slice of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake from Vegan Treats for dessert.
Coming up tomorrow: More Grapefruit for breakfast. Carryout from CPK for lunch.

I haven't had mushroom barley soup in the longest time. It looks great. Odd combo with the sushi, maybe, but whatever works. Hot and cold food both, I guess.

Mmmmm... sushi! I haven't had any in a while but could go for some.

You've got it going on with the desserts lately.

Not nearly as great due to it being a leftover, or not near as great in overall quality? Was the Mister's meal the same dish?

I still have leftover "pie filling" from my chocolate peanut butter birthday dessert. Oddly enough, I haven't touched it. Maybe I'm sick?!

I bought 6 grapefruits this morning because of you, Shen. 6!
And I bit into the first one and almost choked to death from the bitterness.

I had only had fresh grapefruit once before having it again today, but the pictures you post of it for your breakfast makes it look so good so I figured I would like it.
Maybe they're just not ripe enough?

I'm scared to eat the rest.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, your comment disappeared again. I don't know why??

FF, yes, it was a weird combo, but nothing else appealed to me. Both items tasted great, so that was nice.

Molly, I've really been lucking out with the desserts. Especially the PB Chocolate Cake. Best ever!

Ingrid, somthing ain't right with your PB Pie. I'm planning to make one soon. We'll try to figure out where you went wrong.

Isotope, unfortunately, ripeness has nothing to do with your Grapefruit being bitter. That's just how they are. Maybe you could sprinkle a little Raw Sugar on the segments?

Alessandra, thanks! How do I leave a comment on your blog?
