Saturday, February 25th

Wegman's Crunchy PB and TJ's Raspberry Jam on a toasted Ezekiel English Muffin for breakfast.
I decided to be adventurous and order one of the specials, 'Fish in a Clay Pot', $8.95 at Loving Hut. Very delicious and reminiscent of fish.
Dinner was a Tempeh, Chickpea, Fresh Gourmet Crouton, Goddess Dresssing Salad.
Half a slice of Peanut Butter Cheesecake from Vegan Treats for dessert (photographed pre-slicing into 'halfsies')
Coming up tomorrow: Thai Food!

I didn't realize it had been four days since I posted! Got really busy with work but I'm back :)

I love your breakfast. I used to devour Ezekiel english muffins like it was my job.

That soup looks great! It is crazy how vegan "seafood" can taste so real. I remember when I had vegan shrimp that creeped me out by how realistic it was!

You made yourself a beautiful salad! And that cheesecake looks absolutely perfect and makes me stand by my comment that your Loving Hut desserts are far superior to any dessert I've seen at the Loving Hut Orlando.

Haha, I like how they advertise the meal according to what it's served in. "Food in a bucket."
Dinner sounds fantastic - both the salad and that amazing cheesecake. Wow.

Yum yum! Would be interested to try vegan fish; I've had vegan chicken before and quite enjoyed it.

Tempeh in a crunchy green salad is a great, and I love me some Goddess dressing. That dessert looks INSANE, but I mean that as a compliment.

Holy happiness - I can only imagine how fantastic the cheesecake must taste.

I've really got to try some baked tempeh in a salad. It looks like a great addition.

The cheesecake is something else. WANT!

Boy, I bet on a good day, I could eat that whole slice of pie. Lookin' forward to the Thai - one of my absolute faves.

Hey Now!!!!!

VaVa, so glad you're back to blogging, even if it was cars and not food.

FF, the 'clay pot' wasn't even clay, more like bakelite, but I doubt the faux fish could've tasted better if it was cooked in clay.

Miss Rachel, these desserts from Vegan Treats have been better than any non-vegn dessert I ever had.

Ingrid, Peanut Butter Cheesecake was pretty incredible. What a great combo.

Molly, we were so lucky to get some of the Peanut Butter Cheesecake before it was gone. One more slice left in the house.

Rose, yes, I need to eat more salad. It was very enjoyable to shovel in.

Blessed Mama, you probably could've eaten the whole slice, it wasn't sickeningly rich. I hope one day you get to try it.
