That is one good looking but expensive salad.

Off topic. Has anyone tried Match meat alternatives? Shen? Pangea in Rockville has them.

Yeah, that salad looks great. Was the corn grilled or is that balsamic?
Also..I read your last sentence as "Still on the run." No wonder you won't let us know anything about you.

I love Ethiopian seasoned anything - it reminds me a great deal of Indian food. So clever to add it to a salad. Yum!

i have to agree with the first comment... $14 for a salad?! that is what disgusts me about eating out... i could have salads for a week with yummy vegan ranch for that price! i can see why people eat so crappy sometimes, it sucks...

on a good note, looks bomb!

Looks like a great day. I was just thinking about how I need to enjoy this cooler weather by turning on the oven and making zucchini bread. But you've one-upped me with zucchini brownies. That's the way to eat all this summer abundance of zukes!

Hey Now!!!!

Susan, I've been to Pangea a couple times, but I've never bought meat alternatives there. Next time I go I'll keep an eye out for Match products and get back to you.

VaVa, I have a major backlog of premade desserts in the fridge ready to be showcased.

FF, it was grilled corn, but I drizzled a little Balsamic Vinaigrette on top. Does that answer your question? I want to share, believe me! I'm trying. Alas, the details of my life are quite inconsequential.

Jesse, you love all things Indian, don't you?

Amy, CPK ain't cheap, but they're really doing something right. The place is always packed.

Kimberly, yeah, I did pretty well yesterday. I'm proud of myself.

Rose, I can't ever pass up Ethiopian.

Jessica, wish I could take credit for the Brownies. I just knew enough to buy them.

Amy, I was just saying CPK is extremely popular. I'm no big CPK fan and usually only go there to be 'congenial'. Would much prefer to be at Chipotle.
