Tuesday, August 9th

Hawaiian Burger (Soy Patty with Mushroom, Pineapple, Onion & Teriyaki Sauce) with Fries $9.95 from Loving Hut for lunch.
Even though I ate more than enough Bread at lunch, I had Eggless Egg Salad from The Common Market on Rye for dinner.
Between the Apple Ginger Vodka for imbibage and the Raspberry Jam Filled Ginger Snaps from Whole Foods for dessert, the evening was extremely Gingery. My mouth is a burnin!
WTFing tomorrow!

What! Those cookies sound delicious! Oh man. Smooshing jam between cookies is always brilliant.

All the burger and open-faced sandwich action has got my mouth watering...I'm still trying to figure out what I want to eat for dinner...

You just reminded me that one of my favorite treats from my college days is beer and ginger snaps...together, for dinner! I could go for some of those ginger jam sandwich cookies and some vodka for sure...sort of the all grown up version.

I've never had pineapple on a veggie burger. Sounds like it's really worth trying.

I started to name what I thought sounded really good, but then I realized I would be naming everything. Your food day rocked, especially dessert! :o)

Hey Now!!!!

FF, being the Ginger Fiend that you are, I'm sure you would've greatly enjoyed the Vodka and Cookies.

Rose, Beer & Ginger Snaps? Well, that is a strange combination.

VaVa, thanks! I try to eat good, it's amazing how easy it is to fail.

Jessica, oddly enuf, the Pineapple is a really mild addition to the Burger. The Teriyaki Sauce really ties the whole sandwich come together.

Michelle1, this Vodka is getting dangerous! Even a self-avowed teetotaler is interested!

Michelle2, yeah, I'm loving the Burgers, Fries and Eggless Egg Salad big time that's for sure.
