Lunch was a Hummus Wrap $4.25 from U Wrap. The Lemon Wedge is to make a statement.
Dinner from Sunflower-'Curry Supreme' (Chunks of Soy Protein served with Broccoli, Potatoes, Mushrooms, Carrots and Green Peas in a special Japanese Curry Sauce).
Pumpkin Spice Cake for dessert.
Emergency preparedness..
If you don't hear from me for a couple days, it means Irene took the internet with her when she came through town.

That wrap looks yummy! The curry supreme looks as good as it always does! I like that you are prepared ;) You'll be proud, I may have had to postpone the watermelon margaritas but I bought a few bottles of wine to indulge in.
love that wrap and that cake looks divine!!
tell that b*tch irene to back off immediately!
You are def prepared. Even if Irene rides us right into fall, you have vodka to last and pumpkin cake too!
That's my kind of preparedness!! :D People underestimate the power of a tipple in desperate times...I hope the storm doesn't come to much, but if it does...stay safe and let us know whether that Thunder shirt works...you didn't have to wait long to try it out!
That's awesome that you got a Thunder Shirt. I'd love to hear how it works for your pup.
I hope everything fizzles out and doesn't amount to much. Stay safe!
Pumpkin should be included in all desserts! Looks delicious!
The eastern states are really getting it this week, I hope that you are spared and not too soggy!
Like to see you have your priorities straight for the emergency! Good luck - hope you come through the storm without any troubles.
I hope the Thundershirt works for you pups! I've been watching the progress throughout the day... and enjoying a beautiful, sunny, warm day here.
Maybe today's post will be all Finlandia-related, three meals a day?
Hey Now!!!
VaVa, I'm relying on you to help me prep for the Watermelon Margaritas. The vino can wait till fall!
Kimberly, so far Irene ain't got nothing on Isabelle or Agnes. Hope it stays that way!
FF, I'm hereby passing the vegan hurricane coverage off to you. Let's see some Collard Wraps and Muffins.
Rose, I would've been quite peeved if the Thundershirt didn't come in time for the hurricane. We're pleased it fits and Teddy is cooperative about wearing it.
Molly, it's funny to us that two of the pups have no reaction whatsoever to thunder/rain. One little girl freaks out about weather and even runs when I turn on the camera.
Ingrid, one of the few perks of living in Virginia is the lack of hurricanes & earthquakes. Might as well move to Bangladesh.
Susan, I hope so too. Thanks! I'm mostly worried about trees coming down on the barn or house.
Jessica, warn & sunny in Cincy?! That's hard to believe.
