Sunday, August 28th

The hurricane anticipation left me feeling super wiped out physically and emotionally. For us, thankfully, it was just a lot of heavy rain. To try and recover, I decided to go the FF/VaVa route and eat for life today. Not the energy-sapping grub I normally go for. Lunch was A Really Big Salad With Lots Of (overpriced water-laden) Stuff In It from Wegmans.
Organic Wild Rice, Steamed Broccoli & Soy Curls with Mushrooms & Onions for dinner.
PB & Banana for dessert. Just a little sugar in the PB. I'm not too crazy.
Lots of Finlandia. Wonder what the weather situation is in Finland these days.

Has the hurricane scared you straight??
The RBSWLOSIIFW looks great. I had more of the soup today with wild rice, and I forgot how nice the flavor and texture of it is.
I'm not sure Finland has a weather situation. I imagine an everlasting sparkly cloud with high altitude atmosphere.

So glad to hear you're ok! With hurricanes and earthquakes all in the same week, you've been through a lot. It's good that you're eating well and that the vodka is doing its job!

So glad you made it thru with only heavy rain! I was wondering about you.
Everything looks great, but those soy curls really look good!
I'm sure Finlands weather is much better than ours. :o)

That is a good looking salad. I need to see how close I'll be to Wegman's once I move back east. Looking for the bright side.

Hope you're enjoying yourself today - whatever that meas!

Hey Now!!!!

FF, your description of Finland makes me want to go to there!

VaVa, the power of Irene is strong in me. I'm nipping at your Chopped Salad heels.

Rose, let's say I am now both shaken & stirred.

Michelle2, there's no vodka named 'America'. Point goes to Finland on that one.

Jessica, fear not, Philly has tons of vegan grub. You'll be just a short drive to NYC/Baltimore/Atlantic City. Plus there's your Mother-In-Law right next door!
