Saturday, August 20th

Breakfast was 'The Vegan Wrap' Tofu Scramble, Mixed Veggies, Vegan Bacon and Vegan Cheese, with Home Fries & Salsa $8.95 at Busboys & Poets. People (well, two people) have been advising me to go here for years, so it was exciting to finally make it.
Lunch was the Sushi Combo Special $6.90 at Sake Thai Restaurant. Cucumber Roll & Avocado Roll.
Dinner was breakfast leftovers, reheated in the oven after having sat in the car all day. Definitely tasted better that way.
This is the humongous Sticky Bun from Vegan Treats that I bought at Loving Hut yesterday.
I'm not a huge fan of The Sticky Bun in general, but at least this one was genuinely sticky in certain parts. Not dry all over like other so-called Sticky Buns.
Still partaking.

OMG wow! I'm officially jealous of every bite you took today. Every single meal looks delicious but that breakfast looks AMAZING. Like I've said, I'm such a breakfast person and that is right up my alley. And the fact that you had 2 meals out of it makes it even better, the more breakfast the better!

Breakfast is probably my favorite meal to eat out. There are some really fun choices that usually taste pretty good. Next time I'll break into a car to leave my meal in, then pick it out later. Thanks for the idea.

Also, why do you keep ordering sticky buns if you don't even like them??

So, apparently I typed my comment today ("yesterday" when you read this) while you were typing your responses, and so poor little ol' me got overlooked. Well! So, I'm making sure this time to get my comment in early! Hmm, what to say, what to say...I've made such a big deal out of it now. Ahem, methinks the burrito looks taste-bud satisfying and full-belly-targeted. There - now this time, don't skip me. Sheesh.

Mike would be all over that breakfast. It looks really good and extremely filling!

The sticky bun looks a lot like a cinnamon roll. I don't think I've ever had one....

That breakfast has it all! How do you find all these cool places to eat?

Ok, so I went to my Loving Hut yesterday. They didn't have any good looking desserts. They did give me a free shrimp to eat while I waited on my order. That scrimp was eerily shrimpy, I would never order one but I was afraid not to eat it.

Back to your post - I wonder why the leftovers were better like that... it certainly looks like a great breakfast.

Hey Now!!!

VaVa, the sun beam was on my back yesterday morning. You know what I'm talking about.

FF, don't forget to take the change in the ashtray when you break into that car. I ordered the two Sticky Buns recently just to reconfirm that I still don't like them. Gotta 'check in' every once in a while. Tastes change. Mine didn't this time, but they could have.

Blessed Mama, I post daily! If you can't get your comment in by the time I acknowledge everyone else's comments...well, no big loss actually. Just try to comment earlier next time.

Michelle1, high praise! Wish I could take credit for the grub. Seems to have been a bit of a success with the readers.

Molly, Sticky Bun/Cinnamon Roll. I dunno the difference. They're just doughy sweet treats that go well with coffee drinks, that's all I know.

GSGV, thanks, but it really wasn't the most amazingist food day I've ever had. There have been better somewhere along the line.

Rose, now I know you're f*ckin with me.

Jessica, ha! Vegan shrimp are soooo realistic. At least you know you wont get food poisoning from the 'free treat'. I was actually gonna give breakfast a negative review till I ate the reheated leftovers. Eight hours in the car really helped mature the flavors.
