Friday, August 5th

This morning, I finally made it to Sticky Fingers. The 'Breakfast Burrito' - Organic Whole Grain Tortilla, Tofu Scramble, Black Beans, Tomato, Spinach & Daiya Cheese $7.95
While waiting for the Burrito, I bought a pre-made 'Breakfast Sandwich' $4.75
The Burrito was way better than the Sandwich, but I was so overwhelmed to be amongst all the vegan goodness, I really didn't know what was going on.
The next stop was The Museum Of Natural History. I couldn't leave anything like TLT Sandwiches or Lasagna in the hot car, so I bought one of the signature Sticky Buns $3.75 to go.
A Kunzite necklace that caught my eye amongst the Gems and Minerals exhibit:
Carryout for lunch from Sunflower-'Curry Supreme' (Chunks of Soy Protein served with Broccoli, Potatoes, Mushrooms, Carrots and Green Peas in a special Japanese Curry Sauce).
Part of the Sticky Bun for dessert. We weren't too impressed with it, pretty dry, but we're hoping that as we work our way inwards, it will get better.
Rain Organic Vodka for my evening revelry.
Major sensory overload.

So, I gather you were in DC today...sounds like fun. That tofu burrito looks crazy good! I know what you mean, I'd go nuts in a place where I can eat anything around.

That's a fetching necklace...fancy enough to go with that organic vodka, now that is class.

Quel schmancy necklace. Sounds like a really nice day out. Haha, I totally eat an entire meal while waiting for my food to be done too...

I am a total sucker for breakfast so I love that you finally included breakfast in a post! Both looked really good and that is such a bummer that the cinnamon roll is disappointing..although the middle is always the best part. The necklace is beautiful and so is your drink model, as always :)

Hey Now!!!!

Rose, Mr. SV was going to the museum and so I tagged along. Not usually a DC blogger obvs. The Burrito was incredible! I sure wish I was wearing the necklace now.

FF, if only I'd thought quick and smashed the glass housing the necklace. It could've been mine!

VaVa, I try so hard not to be boring, that's why I don't post breakfast. 99.9% it's a Banana & PB. No Oats/Coconut/Seasonal Fruits to jazz up the blog.

As I was scrolling through this post on my phone the other day, I had the picture of the sticky bun up, thinking about how much I wanted it. And my daughter was lying next to me and gasped with delight. I said, "I know - doesn't it look delicious?" But she was looking at the necklace.
