Sunday, October 19th

An extremely mediocre, if not HARRABLE!, food day all courtesy of Dawson's Market...I got the Hunan Tofu off their Hot Bar for lunch...
so lousy. Bleh...
A Tuna Wrap with Cole Slaw for dinner....
Again, lousy Wrap, the Cole Slaw was good though...
I stocked up on a lot of other grub for the week at Dawson's -- Eggless Egg Salad and Mac & Cheese Muffins -- so hopefully the rest will be better.  Bye for now.

Sorry the tofu wasn't great. It makes me want some good, saucy, spicy tofu.
The tuna wrap looks a little sloppy. And "vegan tuna" in the ingredient list kinda creeps me out a little. Like, there are a few ways to make vegan tuna and if that were me, I'd like to know HOW they did it. Oh well.
Tomorrow is another day.

That tofu does look kind of sad... Too bad the wrap was a clunker too- looks like they really packed in the mysterious vegan tuna. Maybe they're just good for those few specific favorites you have that they make.

There are vending machines in lots of european train stations and the airports- even their vending machine espresso wasn't half bad!
We had an automat on st mark's place for a little while- mostly fried foods, popular with drunk kids late at night (side effect of the neighborhood), i went and had lukewarm fries once for the novelty of it.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, nothing better than good, saucy, spicy Tofu.

Unknown, I guess I lost the brain cell that saw any vending machines in Europe. The St. Marks Place Automat is similar to what they have in Amsterdam called 'Febo' serving Fries and Mayo. I want to experience the kind they had back in the 40's and 50's, but i doubt that can ever be recreated.
