A huge Honeycrisp for breakfast. I saw them on sale at TJ's for $1.50/each. I cant do the math in my head to determine if that was a good deal or not compared to Wegman's $3.99/pound...
After breakfast yesterday, I stopped into LPQ to get a pint of Veggie Chili to go. It isnt the best Chili, I knew that in advance, but I really need to remember harder so I dont buy it again...
WF's Breaded Tofu with Roasted Cauliflower for dinner...
Mr. SVegetarian had bought this piece of Vegan Treat's Death By Chocolate for himself. I saw it sitting on the counter tonight and had to have some. This pic was taken prior to it's being cut in half....
Potentially all different grub tomorrow. Bye for now.

I love yr "potentialies." You are a woman in charge of yr own destiny!!
Yeah, I used to try to shop around for deals or whatever but the math was so confusing I just gave up. At this point I pretty much know what's cheapest at TJ's but I typically stay away from their produce because it's not the best.

If the honeycrisps look good i just fork over the $$. I cheaped out and bought a few mutsu apples the other day that are super crisp and taste like almost nothing. Ugh.
When i make green juice i use a half a granny smith apple to balance the greens and lemon etc but if they added a whole sweet apple to the juice that would make the same combo way too sweet for me.

Is LPQ chili too mild for you? Looks like a lotta beans in there. That cake is gorgeousness! The Mr must really love you to share such an amazing slice of cake....

Yeah, the coconut vodka was one of those mini bottles- total impulse buy, but perfect tropical drink for a grey rainy weekend.

That is my fave VT cake hands down. PLUS, the slices from the large cakes are far superior to the small, albeit more adorable minis you get from the shop. IMHO: better cake to cream ratio.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, did I spell 'potentially' wrong? i cant tell. When I WFH, my food options are narrowed considerably. I am a huge fan of TJ's Organic Gold Potatoes. The Teeny Tiny Taters are also good. I think I am more of Spud lover than you are.

Unknown, wonder if you could put the Mutsu Apples in your Green Juice? The LPQ Chili might be considered better if they just called it Spicy Bean Soup. Maybe not. You can keep the empty little liquor bottle and refill it from a big bottle of liquor. Then keep the little bottle in your purse for those times you need to take the edge off.

Abby, time for Vegan Treats to open a DC branch. Loving Hut keeps being the same stuff (probably cuz it is what sells best) but I want to try some of the things you show on your blog.

The honeycrisps have been do amazing this year! That is one item I'd definitely pay a little more for. Too bad the chili was disappointing but it certainly looks like the cake made up for it! It looks amazing!
