Oh another great day! Starting the day at Chipotle was an unexpected move but it does look delicious. Do they charge for guac when you get the sofritas? I know veg anything comes with guac no charge but why do I get the feeling they charge with the sofritas? Hooray for ice cream and beautiful pups eating ice cream! So adorable!

It has been about 17 years since I've dealt with the kosher laws but the ingredients look good to me. Perhaps they have to put the Dairy marker on there if it was made on the same equipment as some dairy products? Just like packages are required to be labeled if the product shares the equipment with allergens?

Ooooh, like a mexican tofu scramble! Nice glob of guac there- that's the best part. And i keep eating raw corn in salads lately, summer corn is one of my favorite summer veggies.
Those look vegan to me- and it does have to be labeled as kosher dairy if its made in the same facility as dairy, even if there is no actual dairy in the product. Fyi anything labeled as kosher parve = no animal or dairy products. Weird that newman's hasn't caught on to using the ever helpful V in a circle.
Love the pup helping you clean!

4Did you eat two ears of corn?
I'm confused about those Paul Newman cups too. They look vegan to me, and I'd probably eat them. But how hard is it to stick "vegan" on the package if they are? It bothers me for some reason. It also bothers me that their regular dark choc cups aren't vegan...but at least that's easier to tell. I'm hoping these are because they sound good.
Did you buy them?

Hey Now!!!!!

Sarah, I wish I knew if they charged extra for Guac with the Sofritas. I was not paying attention when they rang me up. I will pay attention next time. Your explanation of the kosher dairy label makes good sense.

Unknown, I dont think I have ever cut Corn off the Cob for anything. Thanks for confirming what Sarah said. I feel better now. You would think such a responsible company like Newman's Own would make that extra effort with a V on the appropriate products. I totally didnt know about the Kosher Parve meaning.

FF, what if I did eat two Ears of Corn? What are you saying? I did buy the Raspberry Cups, but i dont think I will be enjoyijg them tonight.

VP, thanks! Wish I had thought to take a pic sooner, He was pretty much done by the time I thought to photograph him.

Ahhhh these sloppy joes look excellent, I must make some, but it’s only evening right now! TJ’s products are the best, I love shopping there and live about 5 minutes away!
