A positive start to the day..
A Japanese lunch in a darkened booth at Taipei Tokyo enjoyed with some Hot Sake (too hot to pour safely)...
Asparagus and Avocado Sushi...
More PF Changs MaPo Tofu for dinner...
My last half of a Randy Radish Oatmeal Chocolate Cookie for dessert..
I hope to get to LPQ tomorrow to see what they present me with. Bye for now.

Oooh Japanese, definitely would not have guessed that. The rolls look really fresh and tasty. I've never had hot sake and I can't say it really appeals to me but daydrinking on a friday does sound pretty great. So does leftover Ma Po Tofu and cookies.
Fingers are crossed for a good LPQ experience! Hopefully they don't run out of tofu this weekend... so strange. Is the matcha muffin still off the menu too? That's a done deal?
Yikes! Looks like there is as much sake on the table as made it in the glass.... :/ They didn't pour it for you while it was still so hot?? The pile of pickled ginger is almost more appealing to me than the gorgeous rolls. I always ask for extra too.
The mapo has served you well, maybe randy has a whole pile of new cookies waiting for you....
I saw mason!!! There was actually quite a lot of excitment happening two blocks up with a building that had a fire, no one was hurt but there were a lot of very attractive fireman wandering around. I chatted with his mommy about the commotion (which mason didn't mind) and we caught up on cuddles :))

Hey Now!!!!
Sarah, I was thinking the Rolls looked pretty pathetic, but you always say the nice thing. The Matcha Muffins are a done deal, hiwever, maybe by the time you get to LPQ they will have made a return.
Unknown, it wasn't the authentic Japenese meal one would hope for, I am still a little vurpy from the sticky rice,, but for the price I cant complain. Let's just say I dont think you would have asked for extra Pickeled Ginger. NY Firemen! I would enjoy ogling that (so long as no one was injured of course...) It is so nice that you and Mason could comfort each other during the chaos.
