WTF Thursday

Nature's Path Corn Flakes with Almond Milk for breakfast. Very tasty and gluten-free!
BBQ Jackfruit and Fries from The Randy Radish for lunch.
Field Roast Franks and Mac & Cheese from Dawson's Market for dinner.
Apparently, some of my fellow food bloggers may have an eating disorder according to this article: Food Social Media and Obesity. Not me though. I'm right as rain. Peanut Chews for dessert.
Lunch out with Mom tomorrow, but nowhere we go to with great regularity.

HA! Or it's just a hobby. People really will write articles about anything.

I've had jackfruit once, and found it pretty good! How was yours?

That's one tricky lunch clue. I have no idea.

LOL I agree with Ingrid! Sounds like a hobby to me but people will research anything and everything.

That jackfruit sandwich looks really great and the mac and cheese look good as usual. I think I'm lucky my smoothie craving is stronger than my cold cereal craving :) Oooh curious about lunch!

I really want a bite of your sandwich! Please?? I am so curious about the jackfruit...
Those peanut chews are the best candy ever- there was some kind of taffy/nouget bar filled with peanut butter that i loved as a kid called an "abba zabba" and i would get that or these peanut chews the rare occasion we were allowed candy.
Hmmm. Maybe groupon will send you a special in the morning for mom lunching!

Every time you talk about Dawson's Market, I see James van der Beek.

Hey Now,

Ingrid, the Randy Radish makes Jackfruit so that it is unrecognizable, i.e., 'good'. I should have told you that you had a reprieve from the lunch-with-Mom-guessing-game this week.

VaVa, I greatly admire those that can go to the effort of making a Smoothie. Peeling the frozen Banana is enough to count me out immediately.

Unknown, the BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich is actually worthy of sophisticated Manhattanite taste buds. Hard to believe, I know. Your 'Abba Zabbas' sound like Mary Janes. If you had a blog, you could have a guest post from your Mom explaining your childhood dietary restrictions...but no....Speaking of Moms....My Mom and I do have a stockpile of Groupons for future lunches, however, today we used an old-fashioned gift card.

Hannah, Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market Dawson's Market...you're welcome.

Is that the first time you've had jackfruit? I've only had it once (as a bbq sandwich, too) and loved it.

Kind of a strange article..... funny, too, because I feel like sharing pictures of what I eat has helped me with my food issues enormously. I'm much more comfortable with food now than I've ever been.
