Tuesday, March 14th

A mini Carrot Cake from Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast. I found it an extremely delicious treat by approaching it as a Muffin rather than a Cake. Hope I can buy more.
MaPo Tofu and a Spring Roll from PF Changs for lunch....also extremely delicious...
Morningstar Vegan Grillers with Roasted Potatoes for dinner. I think I prefer Boca Burgers.
WFH Grub tomorrow.

Thanks for reminding me about Riverwest's pancakes! I haven't had those for a long time and would much prefer those over making my own. :) It's too bad you don't have some good vegan pancakes available by you.

That carrot cake looks like a perfect breakfast and I know it's not a big deal, but since trying Chipotle now I have my sights set on PF Changs. There's one in Milwaukee but it's hard to pass up the other great restaurants!

I'm in the process of moving so I have very limited internet access.

Today's eats look delicious especially the mini carrot cake!

Yes, yes and yes! I would totally chow down on that carrot cake for breakfast. It looks so good, I hope you can get more too! Lunch looks delicious as always. I've never tried the Morningstar burgers, good to know I've made the right decision whenever I go with Boca ;) Although I can't remember the last time I had one. Summer is on the way though!

I'm seriously considering dragging my family to a vegan restaurant for my birthday this year since they drag me to restaurants that have practically zero options for me all the time... but I'll probably be nice and end up anywhere that will make me a bucket sized margarita. ;)

Vava, you should take them to candle cafe! (The casual one unless they want to drop $$$). I have taken many veg resistant omnis there (with the promise they can grab a slice of pizza around the corner if they leave hungry!) and everyone of them has loved it. Wines by the glass and beer too ;)

Another awesome breakfast! And so pretty with the seed garnish ontop.
Nice that PF was generous with the veggies at lunch, it makes me so crazy when they only give like three pcs of broccoli.
I love the assorted condiments on the veg burgers! looks like a great mix
Have you ever made your own veggie burgers? I had trader joe's masala burgers recently- there is potato in them! Really good.

Hey Now!!!!

Molly, I will never forget 'that' Pancake pic from Riverwest Co op. PF Changs is for when you're at a big mall and want somewhere reliable to eat. You don't go there if you have good independent restaurants with vegan options near by.

Hannah, that's why I post, to seek approval from others. I just realized it a couple months ago.

VaVa, you poor thing, you're always craving a Margarita. Anyway, don't miss Unknown's restaurant rec below. I believe even my mother would enjoy Candle Cafe (not that I've ever been there).

1eded7a4-91c0-11e2-bd5a-000bcdca4d7a, hope you're moving close to some good vegan eats.

Unknown, sometimes I wish PF had more Broccoli and sometimes I wish they had more Tofu. Yesterday was just right. I've done TJ's Masala Burgers on occasion but I usually just go for the least expensive in the store. Very rarely have I tried making my own. Did you have a good recipe?

GFHTummy, LPQ definitely rules. Now POST!!!
