Yadda Yadda Yadda Breakfast in a gloomy cube...
Freedom at 11am. Gorgeous 80 degree weather today, so an Al Fresco lunch was enjoyed at Old Angler's Inn...
My 'Black Eyed Pea and Lentil Burger' $15 with Vegan Cheese, Caramelized Onion, Spinach and Tomato Marmalade was the best handmade Veggie Burger I've ever had out (or in). I didn't confirm the entire thing was vegan though. I just assumed it was since they put Vegan Cheese on it.
When I got home, I treated myself to a refreshing Steaz Green Tea Root Beer on ice...
Boca Chikn Patties and Roasted Asparagus for dinner.
No dessert because I was still so full from lunch I shouldn't have even eaten dinner.

Oooh that lunch looks so delicious! In my daiya experience the melted cheese on that burger definitely resembles melted daiya so I definitely think you are safe :) I love dining al fresco on a beautiful day. there are few things that are better than that!
I have never had a burger like that nor am I sure whether I know what root beer tastes like. THE UNKNOWN!
That does look like a great veggie burger- i can see all the texture in the photo! Looks like a nice salad action on the side there too The bubbly beverage looks so refreshing-i haven't seen that flavor before, can you taste the green tea?

Nice weather arrived here yesterday, too. We were outside for the graduation ceremony and I am sunburned from my scalp to my toes. Good times.
Most of the asparagus I've had lately has been really good, I hope the same for you!
I've been talking to grandma (she's in town) about visiting VA this summer, and she tells me it's so much prettier in the fall. She says this mostly when I talk about how beautiful Skyline Drive was in July 2011.
That burger sounds absolutely perfect and I had no idea that Steaz had root beer. I love Steaz!
Looks like a great food day for you and with beautiful weather to boot? Perfect!
Hey Now!!!!
VaVa, we agree on the pleasure of dining Al Fresco! Especially when there is alcohol (for me anyway).
Hannah, Root Beer tastes like Root Beer. Great stuff.
Unknown, I can't taste the Green Tea in the Steaz. Tastes like regular Root Beer to me but less 'junky'.
Ingrid, weren't you buried in snow two weeks ago? That Denver weather is freaky. I'm w/Grandma on the visiting DC part. Summer in the DC area is extremely hellish as well as ugly.
Molly, so glad you're back. I dreamt I saw a couple Airstreams last night, but couldn't get photos of them to post for you.
