Wednesday, May 22nd

An Organic Fuji Apple and Two Energy Bites for breakfast. This was very satisfying.
Stuff off the WF's Hot Bar (Hot and Spicy Tofu, O'Brien Potatoes! and Chana Masala) for lunch....
'Pea Pesto Pasta w/Shitake Mushroom Bacon, served with a Spring Green Salad' $10 carried out from The Randy Radish for dinner. Wish I hadn't blocked the pic of the Salad part with the little cup of Dressing. The Salad was incredible -- Strawberries, Oranges, Slivered Almonds, Pumpkin Seeds. Could have shoveled in a few pounds of that. The Pasta was great as well, but I was expecting that.
Tofurky Italian Deli Slices on White Bread with lots of Vegenaisse for dessert.
WFH again tomorrow, so that's good.

Applause to WFs for the hot bar - hot and spicy tofu AND potatoes O'Brien?! Excellent. I've stalked the breakfast hot bar, and it appears that they are no longer visiting the O'Briens. Lots of biscuits and gravy (non-vegan) and such.

The Spring Green Salad does sound pretty spectacular. How was the dressing?

I love that you had a tofurky sandwich for dessert. That's totally something I would do. :)

The salad sounds fantastic. Mushroom bacon, you say? YUM!

I would like to imagine that those potatoes are named after O'Brien from Downton Abbey. I would also like to imagine eating that salad.

Haha I love your savory desserts. Haven't seen one in a while!

That salad sounds so delightful and refreshing. The humidity has been oppressive the past few days which is probably the reason we had an intense thunderstorm this morning. The O'Brien potatoes are always a welcome sight ;) Was the spicy tofu actually spicy? I think a thai restaurant made my food supremely spicy out of spite once so I'm always weary about it now lol!

Wowza, both your lunch and dinner look chock full of goodness and variety! A shot of the dressing was a good idea; no second guessing yourself.

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, say it isn't so! The O'Brien Potatoes MUST AND WILL return to your WF's hot bar. I was lucky to get these Potatoes because the breakfast buffet hadn't been put away yet. They taste even better after sitting out for four hours. The Salad Dressing was drinkable as well. I needed a bucket of both Salad and Dressing.

Molly, dessert is supposed to be a 'treat', so lots of Vegenaisse on White Bread is a treat for me. Keepin it real.

Hannah, these O'Briens would never place a slippery bar of soap next to the clawfoot tub. Imagine Mrs. Patmore made these Potatoes. That's how good they are.

VaVa, we're getting major t'storms now. I've had food too spicy to even taste as well but this Tofu wasn't remotely spicy at all. Fear not.

Blessed Mama, I'd totally forgotten about the dressing shot till you just mentioned it.

seriously, what would life be like without the WF hotbar?!
