Monday, May 27th

For those of us who couldn't get to the beach this weekend, Clare and Don's Beach Shack was there with potent Painkillers...
Fried Dill Pickle Chips...
and a Blackened Tofu Sandwich.
No need to put on a bathing suit, so Gardein Stuffed Turky with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Steamed Broccoli for dinner.
In belated honor of Hannah's birthday, I was looking for a Peanut Butter dessert to eat and found this old Snap! Bar. Not PB, but really good. Almost Nestle Crunch good.
It's been a successful three days of food consumption. So sad it is over. Fortunately, 'The Bachelorette' returns tonight, so that helps soften the transition back to reality.

I didn't have to work today :) Monday is my regular day off along with Sunday so it was just a normal 2 day weekend for me.

Great looking meals! What's in that drink?! It looks like fun ;) I told my sister in law this evening that I'm planning on making some watermelon margaritas once it gets warmer and she said she's in ;) Can't wait. Anyway, back to your delicious eats! I seriously want to try some of those fried pickles, they sound amazing! The sandwich looks great too and you really did stock up on that broccoli! And finally, you can't go wrong with chocolate!

Aaaaahahahaha!!! This made me actually laugh out loud. I snorted out loud. You're the best. Thank you. And the Snap bar totally counts because just twenty minutes ago, I had the Go Max Go Thumbs Up bar for the first time. High five.

That beverage looks perfect! I love any/all drinks with edible garnishes....
I would take that lunch on the patio as a swap for skin cancer and sand where the sun don't shine any day! Crinkle fries are somehow more delicious i swear.
What a pretty broccoli pile- and a sassy name to your dessert, i have always loved the puffy crispy bits in chocolate category.

Glad you enjoyed your long weekend! Your drink looks really refreshing.

I love the Snap bars. Haven't had one for a long time.

I have not seen the Snap! candy bars, but I have had some of the other Go Max Go varieties. It's not really important in the grand scheme, but I think it would be better if they had more appetizing looking wrappers. In my opinion the Mahalo one has the best wrapper.

I've got The Bachelorette on hulu now. Oh my god, it's AMAZING!!!

Those fried dill pickle chips look so yummy!! And the a Blackened Tofu Sandwich, in fact it all looks pretty good! Some of the supermarkets here make a good vegan chocolate bar with rice krispie bits in too and they're very nice. Can't go wrong with a bit of chocolate :)

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, the Pusser's Painkiller is my favorite cocktail: Pusser's Rum, OJ, Coconut Milk, Pineapple Juice on the rocks with freshly grated Nutmeg on top. One day you'll be on a Caribbean beach and order one and it will be a highlight of your life.

Hannah, Thumbs Up Bar???? You are really on the cutting edge of 'What's New In Chocolate'. What is the the Thumbs Up Bar a take-off on???

Unknown, Crinkle Cuts always taste better. Someone needs to research why.

Molly, this was my first Snap! Bar. If I ever see them again, I'll stock up.

Miss Rachel, Go Max Go didn't need to put any effort into their wrappers when they were the only game in town. Things have changed recently, so they do need to up their game. In a perfect world, The Bachelorette would be on 24/7 365 days a year.

Urban_Lake, can't go wrong with a spot of tea either;-)
