Sunday, May 19th

Breakfast was just a couple of Sarah Kramers Banana Pancakes with TJ's Maple Syrup to keep the hunger at bay till...
Tofu Scramble at Cafe Nola for lunch. They did an excellent job crisping up the Tofu and Roasting the Potatoes.
Wegman's Chickenless Chicken with Steamed Broccoli for dinner. (I've gotten some good deals on Organic Broccoli lately so expect to see a lot of it the next week or so).
Two Moms In The Raw Almond Butter Cacao Truffle for dessert. Disappointing product for the high price. I fell for the precious yuppie name. Can't recommend. Stuck with two more in the pack now.
WFH Grub tomorrow.

I think I can attribute most of my cravings to your yummy food porn lol! I want pancakes so bad now! And the tofu scramble looks perfect. I love my tofu scramble and potatoes extra crispy and that plate looks perfect. Hooray for broccoli! Love it. Too bad about those truffles. I prefer to make things like that because it's way less expensive. That's the bummer about raw foods in the grocery store.. waaaaaay too expensive.

Man, that is SO disappointing about the dessert, because raw truffles are ridiculously easy to make well at home, and I've seen the ungodly price of Two Moms in the Raw. Boo.

Breakfast for two meals sounds like my kind of day. The pancake recipe continuously looks good, and Cafe Nola's Scrambler and potatoes. I could and would eat them. Now I sounds like Dr. Seuss - anyway, looks like a great day (minus the dessert - I've seen that brand, but was always put off by the price too).

That looks like another great tofu scramble! I can never decide if i prefer the crumbled scramble or the cubed kind with the crispy edges.... Either way there is an obscene amount of ketchup involved. And they were generous with the veggies in there too!
I love that wegman's is even making a chickenless product- i have the (potentially naive) belief that the more mainstream meat free and veg meals are the more people will finally "see the light" :))) i would have bought those truffles too, they sound so good on paper! I buy those two moms in the raw blueberry granola-y bars sometimes and they're good.
Hmm. Maybe crumbled into some ice cream with the last two? Or a nut butter schmear?

Too bad about the truffle. I hate when that happens, especially when it has such a delicious name. Your lunch looks like it made up for it, though!

We found morels yesterday! Lots & lots of them. :)

Hm, I've had a couple of those moms in the Raw products... I think I mostly like their crackers. Haven't seen the truffles but now I know not to be tempted. Homemade raw truffles DO rule though.

Those pancakes look might fine! Bummer about the truffles. I hate overpriced stuff that doesn't live up to the price tag:/

Hey Now!!!

VaVa, I remember your handmade Truffles made from the 'Newman's Own' Cookies. Now those would be worth some $$.

Hannah, why has everyone seen these Two Moms in the Raw products before except me????

Ingrid, you are now $3.99 richer for not having bought the Moms In The Raw Truffles. Don't spend it all in one place.

Unknown, I agree that the meatless products will become more mainstream and people with a compassion gene might opt pick those over products the 'real' stuff. The Truffles sounded so great on paper. I was so disappointed.

Molly, NO FREAKIN WAY!!!! YOU FOUND MORELS????? Can't wait to see that post!!!

FF, I'm sure your homemade raw truffles blow these Moms in the Raw out of the stratosphere.

GFHTummy, oh the Pancakes are so great. I did ponder just living on Pancakes for all meals for a while. I may still do that (with vegan sausages on the side).
