Sunday, March 31st

The last of the Golden Flax Cereal with Flaxseed Milk for breakfast. Wont be buying this cereal again.
Penne Mediterranean at Brio for lunch. The restaurant did well handling the crowds today.
Boca Burgers and TJ's Tots for dinner. I'd eat this 365 nights a year if it weren't for da blog making me post different things.
Thought there would be dessert tonight, but I guess not. WFH grub tomorrow.

Saturday, March 30th

A Hazelnut Soy Frappucino from Starbucks for breakfast/lunch. Goes down very fast.
Boca Burgers with Daiya and TJ's Tots for dinner.
PB & Banana on Raisin Walnut Bread for dessert.
A pretty perennial flower currently in bloom. I planted this a long time ago and now I no longer know the name of it.
Lunch at Brio tomorrow. Or, as my mother calls it, 'The Brio'.

Yadda Yadda Breakfast Yadda....
Lunch was at Mykonos, where Mom & I shared some 'Melitzanosalata' $6.50 - a Smoked Mousse Eggplant froth, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice and Herbs...
'Fava Santorinis' $6 - Fava Beans puréed and topped with Olive Oil, Lemon, chopped Onions and Parsley. Great flavors...
with tons of toasted Pita Bread...
My 'Taverna' Salad $6 - Romaine Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Onions, Peppers and Olives.
Only two more servings left of this Field Roast En Croute. Then it'll be at least seven or eight more months till it's on here again...don't cry too hard..
A Chocolate Donut from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut for dessert. Yes, the entire Donut.
I love cake.

A BBQ Beyond Meat Sandwich from WF's $6.99 (with an unseen cup of Adobo Black Bean Chili $3.99) for lunch.
Boca Chikn Patties and Broccoli for dinner.
Half a piece of Irish Creme Chocolate Cake from Sweet and Natural for dessert. Must be a seasonal offering. Sure was great.
More Cube Food tomorrow. Then it's WTF grub on Wednesday & Thursday!

Meaza doesn't list their prices on their website, so hitting the minimum $30 to activate our Groupon impelled us to order more food than anticipated. As with last weeks Groupon-driven excursion, we probably would've spent less without the Groupon, but then we never would've gone in the first place had we not bought it.
We started with a 'Sambussa' $2.50 each. Lentils, Onions, Green Peppers in a Crispy Wrap and deep fried. Hard to go wrong there.
We shared a 'Special Vegi Combo' $13.99 and a 'Shiro' $12.99 (the suspicious brown puddle in the middle). The 'Shiro' is described as 'Powdered Peas cooked in special Ethiopian made clog pot with Olive Oil, Garlic, Onion and topped with Fresh Jalapeño'. It tasted like the filling of a Taco Bell Bean Burrito, which, for us, is a good thing. We gobbled that Shiro up. While I don't usually review restaurants on da blog because WTF do I know? I wasn't feeling the ultra laid-back service & shabby retro vibe. As they say on 'The Bachelor', "I can't see a future with Meaza".
Gardein Savory Stuffed Turk'y and Roasted Asparagus for dinner. Enjoyed at home, where the future is now.
A slice of Raspberry Cheesecake from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut for dessert. Extremely rich and decadent.
More eating tomorrow. Presumably.

Thursday, March 21st

No breakfast today. Lunch was at Mr. Noodle and Rice. Teriyaki Tofu with a small Sake to celebrate being on vacation.
After lunch, I stopped into Sharp Shopper. This isn't an accurate representation of my typical haul mainly because I don't get to Sharp Shopper very often and all the juice was for Mr. SVegetarian. However, the Flaxmilk, Paper Towels, PB, Individual Juices & Crackers were all only .50 each, not to mention the incredibly low prices on everything else, so that's why I'm posting this haul.

Many years ago, I bought these Santa Slippers at Macy's as a gift for myself the day after Christmas. Upon first sight, the pups decided these were the greatest toys ever. The slippers have been in constant use since then, carried outside, hidden inside, tossed in the air, chewed on and slept with...but never once worn by me.
