Saturday, December 29th

We didn't get the snow they were predicting, but I still slept in really late. So around lunchtime, Mr. SV & I dropped in to Anthony's to see why their parking lot is always packed. We split an order of Bruschetta $6...
and I had the Mediterranean Veggie Wrap $7.50.
Finally made Oh She Glows Avocado Pasta for dinner tonight. It was as delicious as I'd expected it to be.
Too stuffed for dessert.

Did Anthony's live up to the hype? The mediterranean wrap looks really great.
Nice job on the pasta too; I've been so terrible at cooking for myself lately.
Glad you were spared more snow - is the other stuff still around for the pups to frolic in?

So how was the wrap?! I have a feeling I know how it was since you didn't say much about it in the post. The pasta looks so delicious, I really need to try it soon! At least the sauce, I bet it would be great on a rice or quinoa bowl. Yum!

Glad you survived the "blizzard" haha. It just started to snow here around 5pm... a light dusting so far but nothing intense.

Your lunch sounds terrific and that dinner is something I have to check into. Avocado and pasta together is a dream!

Glad you didn't get the snow that was expected. Ours doesn't seem to be stopping.....

Yay! I know you've been meaning to make Angela's pasta, and as you know I love it and make it frequently, I'm happy to know you also enjoyed it! It is so good. She has another version of it that includes peas, which is also pretty good. I use a little lemon than called for, but otherwise follow the recipe.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, Anthony's was better than outside appearance would lead one to believe. Good for ice cold beers on tap (you would like that). Still lots of snow on the ground, just none on the roads, so that's good I guess.

VaVa, I usually don't comment unless something is remarkably good or remarkably bad. It was a decent wrap, can't complain. Yep, another false alarm on the weather that got us all freaked out. Glad you were spared as well.

Molly, have Mike make the Pasta stat! Nice comfort food to enjoy in front of the fire.

Ingrid, it is as great a recipe as I'd suspected. I used bottle Lemon Juice and Dried Basil. Would definitely make it again. Not sure how Peas would work in it:-/

Sara, Jackson & Olivia would love the pasta.
