followed by some of the Family Style Salad...
and the main entree: Penne with Brocolli and tons of Garlic $5.95
TJ's Crispy Tender with Heinz-57 and Roasted Butternut Squash for dinner.
A Raspberry Crumb Bar from Natalia's Elegant Creations for dessert.
This is a blog about what I eat everyday, so everyone must keep their expectations in check.

The butternut squash looks awesome! I have a terrible tendency to undercook mine.
About those knots - do they use vegan butter, or are there just pieces of garlic in the dough?

Your lunch looks fantastic & I'm really craving squash. Must cook the one I have tomorrow.

I may have to find a recipe to make some vegan garlic knots at home, those look so good!

Any day that includes garlic knots is a good one :) the pizza place near me has awesome huge fluffy garlicy knots with parsely and olive oil that are "accidentally" vegan- Your dessert looks so pretty!

I echo the above sentiments regarding garlic knots - yum.

Garlic, broccoli, and pasta - sounds like a winning combination to me!

Fantastic raspberry crumb bar.

I enjoy your blog, and admire your ability to photograph and post every single day. You're pretty great.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, nothing worse than undercooked Butternut Squash. The Knots are apparently vegan to begin with, but they spare our's the drizzle of real butter before bringing them to the table. I don't know if there's Garlic in the dough. Good question.

Molly, hard to go wrong with Squash (unless you undercook it).

Mary, ha. Methinks the Knots are just the scraps of dough leftover from the pizzas. Then they quickly bake the scraps in the oven when customers walk in.

Unknown, everyone seems to know Garlic Knots. This restaurant near us is the only place I've ever encountered them

Skinny *ss, and, believe me, I'm shovelling it all in with great gusto. Very gluttonous.

Ingrid, what I lack in blogging quality, I try to make up for with quantity. Kinda like 'extra credit'.

Those garlic knots look pretty much like little pillows of heaven. Nicely balanced with salad, well done :) Can't go wrong with Gardein tenders and a raspberry crumb bar is the perfect way to cap off the day!
