Friday, September 14th

Raisin Walnut Toast with TJ's Cream Cheese for breakfast.
The Seasonal Vegetable Salad - Arugula, Baby Carrot, Celery, Grilled Squash, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Asparagus and Turnips $12 at Addies. Good thing I can eat gluten, cuz the bread basket is what I filled up on with this tiny salad.
Boca Burgers w/TJ's Veggie Chili and Baked Potatoes successfully filled me up at dinner.

Coming up tomorrow: Hoping for Tofu Scramble and local artisan appreciation.

Oooh, good conclusion. My inner dialogue is full of guesses, but I'll just have to see what sort of VA goodness you bestow upon us.

Bread basket and salad is one of my favorite restaurant lunches.

Weekend homework assignment: photos of chicks. Err. . .whatever they might be called after a few months of life. Is the broken leg cutie still with us?

I seriously thought that salad was an appetizer until I read that it was your main course. It is a nice looking one though. It's nice to "go to town" on bread sometimes, as long it's good bread.

$12 for a tiny salad? That's a shame, although it does look like a great salad.

The bread you had for breakfast looks awesome. There's a pecan raisin bread that a local bakery makes here which we love.

That salad looks really good, but super tiny. I miss really good bread basket bread. Stupid gluten.

Your dinner looks great. I love that veg chili from TJs. Yum.

Elaine would be saddened by the salad, but it does sound like a bunch of great stuff is in there.
Digging the walnut toast, that sounds great.

That bread looks seriously delicious. I agree with the above sentiments, the salad looks great but a little sad size wise. Dinner looks great! But I'll go back to that amazing looking bread because I seriously want a piece of it :)

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, it was a big fail on the scramble and artisan plans. Additionally, it's not good news about Chicky and one of his/her siblings. I will try to accomplish my assignment tomorrow, Teach.

Miss Rachel, yeah, I was pretty shocked when I got my salad. So glad there was a bread basket. Although, I still wasn't full even after that.

Molly, the salad was a major rip, but I told myself we were paying for the quaint atmosphere. That said, tossing in another Potato would've cost them pennies.

Nikki, you're a GFer too? I fear for the future of gluten.

FF, there is nothing like a big salad with lots of stuff in it. Elaine's salad probably had a lot of Croutons and Blue Cheese Dressing.

VaVa, bread saved the day yesterday. But, no, you can't have any.
