Sunday, September 9th

Breakfast was an oddly lemony tasting bowl of Lentil Soup at Black Bear Bistro.
Lunch was the Vegan Wrap $7.95. The Wrap was just so so, but the Fries saved the day.
Dinner was yet more soup. This time the Summer Vegetable Soup I got at the Yes! Organic Market that's located about a mile up the road from Everlasting Life Cafe.
It was decent soup. The corn helped elevate it to 'better than homemade' status.
Almond Joy Cake from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut for dessert.
Coming up tomorrow: Most likely Whole Foods for lunch.

It's definitely heading towards soup & stew season, isn't it? We had some spicy chili today. Lemony lentil soup just doesn't sound right, but your other soup looks great.

That cake is phenomenal! I have extreme cake envy now.

Lots of soups lately, I like it! I need some soup inspiration for the upcoming chilly season. I always want to make soup but rarely do. It's time! What was in the wrap? The fries look yummy!

THAT CAKE!!!! I want to shove it in my face immediately, yum!! That is my favorite flavor combo ever :)

I am loving all of the soup, as well! We've had a tease of fall weather the last two days, but it's back to summer heat today and tomorrow. I would very much like to have fall full time, and lots of soup as well. :)

Almond Joy Cake. . .wow! Hope it was spectacular!

Seems like kind of a ho-hum day, and then smack, you hit us with that cake slice! That looks totally killer.

The wraps look really boring, you are right. What job do you do? Do you always eat out? No time for cooking?
Sorry if I ask, I just that I cook everything and very rarely buy ready made food, and I guess that I don't eat our much unless I am traveling... jut curious, don't need to answer :-).

Hey Now!!!!

Molly, Lemony Lentil Soup does give one pause. We ate it all anyway.

VaVa, I remember your Almond Joy cookies at Xmas time. There was Lettuce, Tomato, Radish, Daiya and Balsamic Vinaigrette in the Wrap.

Ingrid, oh no! I can't take anymore summer heat. We've had winter here now since Saturday's rains. I may need a blanket tonight.

Miss Rachel, a 'ho-hum day'?! You only say that cuz I didn't get a good shot of the Fries.

Sorry I missed your comment, Alessandra. I'm a computer programmer, so I sit in a cube all day. If I were an excellent cook, I'd make more stuff myself. Hate to waste a meal on my boring homemade food.
