Friday, September 7th

Finally got a Blueberry Muffin with some Blueberries! I picked this beautiful baked good up at Mellow Moods Juice Bar last Saturday and it was the best Muffin of any kind I've ever had. 85-90% comprised of Blueberries with a Sweet Crunchy Oat Topping. I need to get back there and stock up.
The Roasted Veggie Salad from California Pizza Kitchen for lunch.
A bowl of Tamarind Soup from Soupergirl for dinner.
That would be enough food for most people, but not me. I then had to have some Eggless Egg Salad from The Common Market. (In fact, I felt ashamed eating it in front of Mr. SV. He must have been disgusted by my gluttony).
I would've eaten more after that, but it's difficult when I'm not alone. Coming up tomorrow: Trying to agree on a lunch place.

Wow, you are right, that looks like a perfect blueberry muffin!! So many blueberries and I love when muffins have a topping too. I need to make a batch of muffins soon.

I know that you are not a huge fan of CPK but the salad looks yummy as always and the soup sounds so interesting! Another savory dessert :)

I wouldn't call you gluttonous in the least bit! Check out all of the veggies! That's some pretty good eating if you ask me!

I think I out-eat you on a regular basis, but your meals are more fun.
It does look like a fantastic blueberry muffin. One you enjoy for more than just the muffin top...

That muffin looks so delicious. The topping & amount of blueberries? Perfect!

I wouldn't call you gluttonous, either. I've eaten far more than this in one day. :)

I like there to be so many blueberries in my muffin that you can barely see the muffin. Sweet crunchy topping is a definite bonus.

Have I said before that I also get very embarrassed to eat late in front of Ryan? When he's out of town, it's very dangerous. I don't think you eat that much, though. Or at least what you show us. If I had a daily food journal it would be tempting to lie.

That muffin looks beautiful, and it's very photogenic too. I'm now inspired to make my next muffins with a crunchy, oat-y topping.

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, you have really not been baking at all the past year, have you? Why is that? Weird.

FF, pullleeeeze. I out-eat out you so bad it's not even funny. Don't even go there.

Sara, seriously. Restaurants should not put Blueberry Pancakes or Muffins on the menu unless they're gonna bring the Blueberries. There ought to be a law.

Molly & Jenny, it was the crunching of the toast while Mr. SV was watching the DNC that made me feel so self conscious. Thankfully, he went to bed early last night and hopefully we'll eventually stop watching the DNC.

Mary, it was a great day of eating. Hard to tell, but I try so hard to accomplish that every day.

GFHTummy, you'll be hard pressed to find a muffin this good in Manhattan. I've been to Manhattan and assessed the Muffin situation.

Miss Rachel, good. Now that you're finally earning some money, it's way past time for a muffin giveaway at Miss Rachel.
