Another quarter piece of a Cheese Danish from Vegan Treats for breakfast.
Lunch was carryout from Cafesano. The Avocado & Tomato Wrap $7.39 Avocado Mix wrapped with Tomatoes, Romaine, Scallions and Kalamato Olives.
I picked up this cute box of heirloom Tomatoes at Trader Joes...
$6.99 for two and a quarter pounds. So pretty and delicious.
Dinner was entirely courtesy of Trader Joes: A bag of TJ's Sorrento Salad Mix, with TJ's Chickenless Chicken, TJ's Heirloom Tomatoes and TJ's Goddess Dressing.
An Eli's Dream Big Bar for dessert.
Coming up tomorrow: Another piece of the Cheese Danish for breakfast. CPK's Roasted Vegetable Salad for lunch.

The tomatoes are really pretty! I always love to look at them in the store.

Great TJ's salad you made. :)

Those tomatoes are gorgeous, what a great find! The salad that you made looked so great! The wrap sounds absolutely amazing (minus the olives of course). I've never heard of that bar before, it looks yummy though! Great food day! Enjoy that CPK salad tomorrow ;)

Beautiful wrap! Do you want to hear the WORST rumor ever (actually, it's true): the site they were considering for Trader Joe's has a lot next to it where an "urban, refined version" of Wal-Mart wants to go. TJ's says they won't come, if Wal-Mart comes. Aaaah!

I'm obviously not a Wal-Mart supporter nor shopper, so this could be devastating. :(

Hey Now!!!!

Molly, the Tomatoes were naturally photogenic. So neat the way nature can't take a bad picture.

VaVa, I hope you find the Tomatoes at your Trader Joes. You can cut them up and put them in your lunch box next to your Carrots and Dolmas.

GFHTummy, aren't they pretty Tomatoes? There were so many boxes, I have no idea if each box had the same assortment.

Ingrid, that is rough news. When Wal-Mart wants to build somewhere, they usually do. They went after a historic battlefield here a few years ago. Few can afford to fight them.

Are you dieting? What's with all of this 1/4 business? Makes me hungry just thinking about it. How was the blackened tofu a few posts back? Good? I once bought a bag of heirloom tomatoes at WF and realized when I got to the car, they were over $30 so I had to return them.

This Danish is humongous! A 1/4 piece is as big as a normal size Danish. I'll try to get a pic of the next whole Danish to show the scale.

The Blackened Tofu Sandwich was fantastic. I can't wait to order it again. Especially with the vegan Tartar Sauce.

That took major balls to return the Heirloom Tomatoes. I'm not comfortable returning things for any reason.

The people at WF know me pretty well since we're in there so much. I feel like I'm constantly returning things - for being moldy usually. I think I'm probably considered to be a VIC (customer) at this point so they never even bat an eye. And most of the people who work there probably wouldn't spend $30 on a few tomatoes, either, so they understand.

Blackened tofu is one of my favorite things, I'm sure with a white sauce it would be taken up even more notches.

That's odd, I've never had an issue with moldy food at WFs. Now Trader Joes, that is a different story. But again, I'm too shy to return anything. Maybe one day you'll venture up through Falls Church, Virginia for some Blackened Tofu. Clare & Dons Beach Shack is very kid friendly.
