Very soon followed by Couscous in the style of Paella for lunch. Only Couscous I ever enjoyed.
Dinner was more of that Soy Curl/Chickpea dish I made yesterday. Even though I added more Chili Powder and Oil, it still was too bland. The picture, like the food, is bland. This is why I have to eat out all the time.
Hummus and Triscuits were required to put some taste and texture on my tongue.
White Chocolate Peanut Butter for dessert. Mind blowing taste and doesn't disrupt todays color scheme.
Coming up tomorrow: More great lunch out (if I have anything to say about it).

Hooray for sleeping late! I slept late too, until about 8:45 which is late for me! ;) Haha did your breakfast come just a few minutes before lunch? Your paella couscous dish sounds really yummy! I still think you shortchange yourself, the food you cook always looks good! Can't go wrong with some peanut butter ;)
Enjoy your Sunday!
isn't sleeping in late so luxurious! And followed by a delicious bunch -- double whammy!! :) That couscous looks awesome - i love all the colors and textures. And your dinner looks great! Super healthy. And PB & Co is hands down one of the most amazing things ever - I love the white choc and the cinnamon kind. Those jars are dangerous!
Very interesting couscous dish. Is it Israeli couscous? maybe the larger pasta made a difference?
I've been eating out more recently and I kind of understand yr "bland food" predicament but I think I am just boring and easy satisfied with bland. Did you spice the dish at all?
Glad you like the PB. I haven't had that flavor in a long time.
Fresh baked bread with fruity olive oil sounds like a fantastic way to start the day. I could probably eat it daily, so it's a good thing I don't keep either in the house!
My kids think 6:30 am is sleeping late, sigh. It all looks good, sorry to hear the dish from home came out bland.
Oh how I love good bread dipped in fruity olive oil - so good! The food color scheme did get kind of khaki after a while. To spice up the veg dish - fresh garlic?
Hey Now!!!!
VaVa, thanks. It was a really bad dish, even though all the individual ingredients were good. Hope you had a good Sunday too.
GFHTummy, a jar of Cinnamon Raisin PB is next on the agenda!
FF, heck yeah, I added spice -- Cumin, Chili Powder, Crushed Red Pepper, Basil, Regular Pepper. Bleh! Tasted like nothing.
Ingrid, warm bread out of the oven and Olive Oil is best served in an ambient restaurant anyway.
Mary, just cuz the kids are up and about, doesn't mean you have to get up to supervise;-)
Miss Rachel, there were a few cloves of Garlic in the dish. It was unsalvagable. Thanks though.
I think I'm okay with bland, too. Or maybe I'm just boring.
