Saturday, August 4th

Lunch was Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese and Lima Beans $9.80 at Everlasting Life Cafe. Such spectacular food.
A Rising Sun Smoothie $6.60 for the ride out of D.C.
Leftover Kung Pao Chicken from Good Fortune (to which I added a diced Zucchini) for dinner.
Hazelnut Cake from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut for dessert.
Coming up tomorrow: Doubtful things can get any more delicious.

OMG that lunch looks so perfect!! Every time you have that fried chicken and mac and cheese I want some but for some reason this plate looks even more delicious and even more perfect!! The smoothie looked like a really refreshing treat for the ride home.

I love bulking up leftovers by adding more veggies to it. Your leftovers look great! That cake makes me jealous every time.

An excellent weekend for you so far! That lunch is something Mike would get extremely excited about. Is it seitan that they use for the chicken?

Can't. Handle. It. Would it be wrong to buy a plane ticket to visit grandma, for the sole purpose of eating at Loving Hut and Everlasting Life?

I don't know how it could get more delicious, but I believe in you, Shen. You can make it happen! ;)

Hey Now!!!!

VaVa, you're so sweet. I wish you could partake of these gluten-heavy food items.

Molly, the 'Fried Chicken' is mutli-layered Bean Curd Skin that is deep-fried like that hell hole KFC.

Ingrid, well, if you have to visit Grandma, you might as well get some pleasure out of it.

Alessandra, we deeply regret not getting a container of the Lima Beans to go.
