Thursday, August 2nd

The other half of my Date Crumb Square from The Common Market for breakfast...

A Groupon-induced lunch at Samantha's, where I enjoyed a pretty potent Margarita...
and Vegetable Fajitas with out-of-focus Rice & Beans...
and a humongous Salad (packed up to go without the dressing). All delicious. Between my mother & myself, we successfully jacked the bill up to the necessary $50.
Carry-out Kung Pao 'Chicken' from Good Fortune for dinner.
Here is Thumper sitting on an open pack of paper towels that we had on a kitchen chair. Guess you had to be there to appreciate it. The wallpaper/molding came with the house.
Coming up tomorrow: Taking another vacation day, so my hopes are high that lunch will be stellar.

Lunch looks great! What are those tubular white things in the salad?

Thumper is so adorable and I love the wallpaper. Cute!

Friday eh? Either that is wishful thinking or that was a VERY potent margarita ;)

That lunch definitely delivers good Mexican food in my book! It looks sooooo good! Dinner looks really great too. Definitely a good food day :)

Thumper is so adorable! I love when pets park themselves in random places, it's too cute!

Molly, those white things in the salad are Hearts of Palm.

VaVa, woops! Technically it was my Friday but thanks for catching that!

Beautiful margarita and salad, but the kitty is the most beautiful thing in this post. How did he get his name? Does he thump anything?

Thumper! Remy also does that - if I leave newspapers/what not on a reachable space, he seeks it out and lays on.

Now I have cravings for both Mexican and Chinese.

Enjoy your vacation day!

P.S. I have a new co-worker who has 11 chickens, 4 dogs, 1 cat, and a turtle (lives in a rural suburb). I've already been entertained with stories.

Hey Now, New Commenters since last night!!!

Miss Rachel, when we first adopted Thumper, her name was 'Willow'. She was waiting around a week in isolation to get integrated with the other house cats and would thump her tail heavily on the floor with impatience.

Ingrid, your coworker sounds just like me but with eight less cats.

Mary, it is pretty neat Peanut Butter. Tastes like White Chocolate and Peanut Butter mixed.

Everybody sing! If you're impatient and you know it, thump your tail. If you're impatient and you know it, thump your tail...
