Saturday, March 31st

Mr. SV and I tried getting breakfast at Pumpernickle Deli this morning. At 10:30, the only vegan option left to order from the menu was the Baked Tofu Sandwich...
which looks better than it was. We decided not to waste the calories on this and instead high-tailed it to...
Sticky Fingers for a Breakfast Burrito $7.49 Organic, Whole Grain Tortilla, Tofu Scramble, Black Beans, Tomato, Spinach & Daiya Cheese. We also stocked up on vegan goodies.
That was enough eatin' till dinner time when I had the last of the homemade Vegetable Soup.
Half a Little Devil from Sticky Fingers for dessert...
Coming up tomorrow: Breakfast from Sticky Fingers.

That baked tofu sandwich looks so good, but too bad. How disappointing. Did you inform the restaurant staff as to why you left?

Good thing the breakfast burrito worked out; it looks great.

That Little Devil indeed looks devilishly good!

I think the tofu sandwich being disappointing was the universe pointing you in the direction of that amazing looking burrito!! That thing looks perfect, look at all of the spinach!

That soup made a lot of servings, that's the best kind of meal, especially because it looks so delicious! That cake looks soooooo good!

I have to say, the tofu sandwich looks bomb (even if it's deceiving), but that burrito just wins the whole day! What a meal!

Hey Now!!!!

Miss Rachel, the restaurant was doing such brisk meat-eating business, I don't know why they even bother with the fake vegan menu.

VaVa,if only we had walked out of the deli upon hearing they had no other vegan options. An important life lesson.

Molly, that Burrito did an excellent job getting the taste of that Tofu Sandwich out of my mouth.

Isotope, I can't help it if my stellar photography skillz made the Tofu Sandwich look delicious. Just believe me when I say it was not.
