Lunch was carryout from Wegman's -- A cup of Red Lentil Chili and a small Salad with Goddess Dressing. I haven't always found Wegman's prepared foods to be so fantastic, but today was an exception. The Chili was actually flavorful, both moderately spicy and slightly sweet. The Salad was tasty enough to make it worth the risk of ingesting all the germs spewed upon it from the many out-of-school kids roaming the store today.
Dinner was carryout from Sunflower -- 'Curry Supreme' (Chunks of Soy Protein served with Broccoli, Potatoes, Mushrooms, Carrots and Green Peas in a special Japanese Curry Sauce). What delicious day would be complete without copious amounts of Liberty Creek Cabernet Sauvignon to help cap it all off? None that I know of.

That all looks Yum!
Thanks for the idea of red lentil chili.
This must be the soy protein you mentioned. It does look like the faux duck we have been obsessed with recently. I hope I can figure out how they make this stuff.
I'm with Rose on the red lentil chili. Thanks for the idea. As many times as I go to Wegman's I never look at the prepared food, so I haven't seen this before.

I truly believe the only way to get the secret to these Buddhist faux meats is to infiltrate the restaurant kitchen as a staffer. Even then, there must be some contract that employees sign agreeing to never divulge the recipe.
Japanese curry! My tummie is screaming with happiness!
I love how all your days end with red wine...as well as all days should.
That red lentil chili looks amazing... I was just looking at soup recipes and I think I settled on something similar.
