WTF Thursday

I picked this pic of breakfast cuz you can see the reflection of my camera in the spoon...
My first reaction upon tasting this WF's Lasagna was disappointment, however, by the time I finished it, I felt more positive about it. I could see where it would be a decent option to have on hand. Certainly enforces portion control. Only 440 calories....
WF's Sesame Grilled Tofu on Soba Noodles tossed in Wegman's Thai Peanut Sauce for dessert. This meal both began and ended as a disappointment...
Uncle Eddie's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert...
Lunch with Mom tomorrow...

Camera-y oatmeal, nice.
So sad about the tofu and noodles! They look so good. That seems to be a recurring disappointment, no?
I finally found Uncle Eddie's cookies at a store but didn't buy them...and by finally I mean maybe they were there all along but I finally raised my eyes to the top shelf.

I will have to check out that lasagna. I have a couple of Amy's burritos in my freezer as lunchtime back up options, and should add some variety!

I can see how dinner would have been an ideal meal on paper, I hate it when food is disappointing! Happily, the cookie looks fantastic!

If Mom loves margaritas, it might be Mexican. But, you haven't had Italian lately - so maybe that. . .

I like the reflection in the spoon :) And I like the oatmeal. Oatmeal season is on its way out, yay! As much as I love oatmeal, I love warm weather more!

Too bad there was disappointment at the beginning of lunch and through dinner. At least the lasagna got better as you kept going. I can definitely see how dinner would look appealing... I love soba noodles. At least the cookies hopefully made up for it!

I'm not even going to try and guess where you are going because I'm useless at that.

Oooohhh! Its like where's waldo but with shen's camera hand!!
Oatmeal and peanut butter is totally a thing, but i think those oatmeal eaters have it will milk too.
Frozen meals are generally speaking horrible squishy things best left to the truly desperate. Dinner sounded so promising! Too bad.
Hope mom lunch is less stressful this week!

People are really excited about seeing you in a spoon. Do schools in America not teach about reflective surfaces?

Hey Now!!!!

FF, you should've bought the cookies. 100% guaranteed phenomenal.

Ingrid, I figure teachers do the frozen entree thing. Ding! Ding! Ding! We've got a winner!!!!

Sarah, I love Soba Noodles too, but I can't seem to make them as tasty at home as they are in restaurants.

Unknown, I agree on the frozen meals thing, but I saw the box of 'Vegan Lasagna' and thought I'd better scarf it up because I'm probably never gonna see it again.

Hannah, you sound cranky. Probably wishing you hadn't said you were going on hiatus and feel the need to take out your frustrations on your 'merican pal, Shen. That's okay, Lil Aussie. Let it out.

That might be my favourite comment of yours in the history of our friendship so far. I'll let it out if you keep it up. x

PS Any crankiness isn't due to blog break but to this godforsaken neverending winter tundra country of woebegoneness.
