Kashi Raisin Vineyard with Hemp Milk for breakfast...
A big fat Artichoke with Vegenaisse & Balsamic Vinegar for lunch. I was inattentive during steaming and let the water evaporate which scorched the outside a little. Still phenomenal through and through...
Oven Roasted Tofurky Sandwich, Vlasic Polish Dill Spear and Dawson's Market Dill Potato Salad for dinner....
Still a ton of Dump Cake left. It's not holding up well. Getting soggy...
Bye for now.

maybe it's just that I've never eaten an artichoke but I feel like I would definitely need more than just that for lunch.
i am really beginning to realize how much I eat. Yr dinner is much more my speed. Pickle and potato salad is even picnic spread worthy.

I feel like you are getting ready for summer with that dinner. Perfect summer picnic food. Love the look of the artichoke. I think I only have had a steamed artichoke once in my life and I remember it taking me forever to eat it! Does it take you a long time to get through it?

Maybe that just means you need to eat bigger pieces of cake ;) Does Mr. SVegetarian help with that at all?

Oooh, lovely artichoke.

I wonder if one could freeze chunks of dump cake for an ice cream crumble topping. . .

What is a raisin vinyard?? Isn't that just like fancy raisin bran cereal?
I adore artichokes!! We had them all the time growing up but most of the artichokes i find here look like crap and are crazy expensive.... Always with just mayo to dip. You do eat the heart and stem, right?
I suspect the dump cake has a limited lifespan, even in your magic house. Maybe try reheating in the oven to dry it a bit?

I'm really not one of those perky optimistic people at all, more like stubborn in my own potentially wrong beliefs ;)

Hey Now!!!

FF, the great thing about eating an Artichoke is the 'ritual'. By the time you finish, you will be more than satiated. This was a $3 Artichoke from WF's. Trimmed the sharp bits with scissor and steamed in water with lemon slices for almost an hour. Do it!!!! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Sarah, yes, it took over a half hour to eat this bad boy. I love food that takes a long time to eat. Mr. SV doesn't eat non-chocolate desserts. It's all on me. I knew that before making the cake.

Ingrid, the Dump Cake is now too wet to crumble alas.

Unknown, it is fancy Raisin Bran. Pretty darn good too. I like it. I totally eat the heart and stem, one of the best Artichokes I've ever had. Hard to believe one out west could be any better. Reheating the Dump Cake in the oven is a clever idea. You believe the TJ's Meatless Meatballs will return, so let's hope you're not wrong in this belief.

Abby, I've never had a stuffed Artichoke. Never even heard of such a thing. I'll have to get on the internet and research.
