Tuesday, April 22nd

If it's Tuesday, it must be Oatmeal...
Vegenaisse and Tofurky Sandwich with a Vlasic Dill Pickle for lunch...
Celery and Goddess Dressing for dinner....
Dump Cake for dessert....
Bye for now.

I just ate celery for dinner, but I also had a carrot, a lot of hummus, and a piece of toast. Still not sure how you can be satisfied with just celery and dressing but more power to you.
That Vlasic pickle looks damn near radioactive.

I completely understand: a light dinner means I can have dessert. ;) Save me a piece of that Dump Cake!

Do you have to eat oatmeal on tuesdays....?
The celery meals are beyond me, but maybe you're enjoying more than just the local poppyseeds and that explains it....;)
The dumpcake looks solid now! Will the Mr have some too?

K-town kicks little italy a$$. Homemade tofu. Significantly fewer tourists. Shoju. Lots of 24/7 places. It will be there when you finally come.

Minus the veganaise your lunch looks perfect to me. Especially with the pickle side (boo olives!). I wish I loved celery because it is so good for you but I don't know if it's the stringiness or what but I"m just not a huge fan. It has to be smothered in peanut butter for me to chow down on raw celery. Sometimes I'll sneak it into a juice but that's about it! The dump cake looks great!

Re: the zest/glare, I just wasn't wearing my glasses so I couldn't tell ;) I get glare like that all the time in my pics, I definitely could never judge based on glare!

I'm with ff; that pickle scares me more than a little. Also, celery for dinner?! Were you just trying to make up for the lack of veggies on your tofurky sammie?

Don't worry, I'm not scared off by pickles.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, a piece toast for dinner? I'd go for a roll or crackers. The look of the Vlasic Pickle did strike me as odd when I first pulled it out of the jar, but then it tasted strangely good. Must have to do with not needing to be refrigerated.

Ingrid, that's what is so great about Celery for a meal. You get all the chewing action but none of the calories. The Dump Cake is moving slow, so considered some saved for you.

Unknown, I can't explain my Celery and Oatmeal cravings. It's all I can do to eat the Bread, Faux Meat and Potatoes I normally live on. No, Mr. SV will never eat the Dump Cake. He only eats desserts with Chocolate. Guess I'll have to look up a map of Koreatown next time I get a bad case of PMS and hit 95 North.

Sarah, you feel about Celery the way I feel about Raw Carrots. The texture the crunch is so extreme.

Abby, I couldn't have dreamed of this Celery addiction for myself. If I were to live solely on Celery, it's possible, all my problems would be solved.

Hannah, you are a wise young woman. You know that just because a Pickle looks a little different, doesn't mean it's bad. Must have learned that from all your world travels.
