Tuesday, April 15th

A Wegman's Pumpernickel Bagel with TJ's Cream Cheese & Scallions for breakfast...
'Mixed Vegetables and Tofu' (aka #22) $8.95 from Loving Hut for lunch...
My last Root's Market 'Crab Cake' with homemade Tartar Sauce and Randy Radish 'Cheezy Macaroni' for dinner...
No dessert, I was pretty full from all of the above. Bye for now....

You know what, I'm going to have Chinese food soon. The Mixed Veg & Tofu looks fantastic, and it has been far too long since I had something like it!

The WFs nearest to me is in the process of major renovation, and they have moved every aisle around around - including the vegan refrigerated items. They seem to be in love (or, um, on contract) with Daiya, because they carry three different varieties of their cream cheese.

Yes please to everything... especially that Loving Hut lunch. It looks fantastic every time I see it. And mac n cheese... and a bagel with cc. So basically everything. I'm living vicariously through you during Passover.

Great looking stuff all around. It's been too long since I've had a bagel. Like, more than a week. Have you noticed, though, that the TJ cc is kinda watery? I thought it was similar to Tofutti at first but I think it's more like Galaxy brand now, which I like texturally slightly less.
Gonna have to go back to Bliss Grand looks like, huh?

I also need a bagel soon....pumpernickle bagels are one of my favorites. Loving hut loves their veggies!
The crab cake looks like it held up well. You should talk to randy about the color of his mac n cheese-doesn't matter how delicious it is if its a weird shade of dark orangey...

Hey Now!!!

Ingrid, sounds like someone should be going to PF Changs.Hmmm! I wonder who? WFs can carry all the Daiya Cream Cheese they want, I'm sticking with TJ's, Tofutti and/or Galaxy Brand.

Sarah, Matzoh with a schmear of Earth Balance is delishus!

FF, that really freaks me out about you saying the TJ's CC is watery. Yesterday, I had to drain off the water after opening the tub and I've never had to do that before. It was so weird. Yes, you poor thing, you have to yet another one of the 50,000 vegan restaurants in NYC.

Unknown, not to worry, that was my last Crab Cake in house. I intentionally picked the Mac & Cheese pic because of that color. Next time I have it, I'll go for a more true-to-life shade.
