Sunday, April 6th

Le Pain Quotidien this morning. The Avocado had a few flaws, but I ate them all...
No lunch after all that. A Root's Market Crab Cake with homemade Tartar Sauce and Roasted Asparagus for dinner....
Root's Market didn't have the Uncle Eddie's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies in stock, so I opted for the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. These can't hold a candle to the PB CC. Not the best end to the weekend...
Bye for now.

Ah well, at least your Saturday was good.

Minus the few avocado imperfections, breakfast still looks really tasty... as does the crab cake and asparagus. Nothing beats homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies :)

Looks like some good bread with the scramble there- do you pile the fu and avo on the bread to eat it?
That crabcake looks really good- nice and thick with some texture, and asparagus is one of my favorites! I've been known to eat an entire bunch in one sitting. Oatmeal cookies are practically breakfast food!

I work in tribeca now so i've been citibiking every morning! Well, not friday cuz it rained... My best time so far is 38 minutes, and i park over by kaffe 1668 and get a wonderful soy cafe o lait on my way to the office. Great start to the day.

Oh, I could have warned you against the oatmeal. I'm not a bit oatmeal cookie fan to begin with, but pretty much nothing can compare to those PBCC ones; I can pretty much finish the bag in a few sittings, no sharing.

The title of this post could have been "postcard picture worthy", as your entire day was both colorful and delicious in appearance - including the cookies. I usually like oatmeal cookies, so you'll need to justify your verdict. ;)

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, I agree. Sunday really didn't have to be that great after the wondrous time that was Saturday.

Sarah, someone once sent me homemade Oatmeal Cookies. That someone is now into making lipstick from crayons. I'm screwed when it comes to the Oatmeal Cookies.

Unknown, I totally pile the fu and avo on the bread and love every second of it. Wish my LPQ breakfast could last forever. What a cool commute you have -- like living in a utopian village!

Abby, what do I do with the rest of the Oatmeal Cookies? Did you eat the ones you bought? I don't want to eat these.

Ingrid, if these were regular Oatmeal Cookies, they'd be okay. But these were UNCLE EDDIE'S cookies! While each flavor costs $6.99/bag, not all flavors are created equal. It's not right!
