Saturday, April 26th

In short: a non-vegan lunch today. The highlight was the Pinot Noir. No, I didn't touch the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, but did eat a few Tortilla Chips....
I specified no cheese in my Spinach Wrap, but who knew I needed to specify no mayo as well? It was not a social situation where I could draw attention to such a 'problem'. I left the restaurant feeling covered in grease, desperately wanting one of those cold-pressed juice cleanses or possibly a transfusion. I may never recover...
While I was out at lunch, Mr. SVegetarian found two Morels...
we're leaving them be so as to observe their life cycle...
More photos were taken in the yard while I prayed time would put as much distance between me and lunch as quickly as possible....I like how the blossoms on Redbud Trees occasionally come straight out of the trunk...
Bleeding Hearts are always thought provoking...
my adorable photographic safari tour guide said 'Mommy, I wish you had taken me to lunch'...
Hearkening back to simpler times, leftover Pasta for dinner. This meal actually helped reset my mind/body well-being. LPQ tomorrow will further work towards eradicating the demon mayo from my person. God bless those vegan labeled menu items....
No dessert. Bye for now.

Oh no, sorry about the may mishap. It happens. But yuck mayo is one of the worst things to have to eat... I'd rather have had accidental cheese in the wrap.
Glad the wine was enjoyable. I'd have counted on that to eradicate the demon mayo.
Beautiful yard shots, especially the Bleed Hearts. If you let the morel go too long will you not be able to eat it?

Mom lunches seem to bring the drama! Too bad about the LPQ trip with her, and who puts mayo on a wrap??? Blegh.
Pasta dinner looks wonderful and comforting- and a unique pasta shape!
Your furry tour guide is gorgeous and looks very content :) what beautiful flowers you have nearby- and so unique too.

Oh no!!! That really sucks about the wrap but I definitely know what you mean about drawing attention to yourself in a social situation. At least the wine was good and that you had a good dinner to get that out of your mind.

Thanks for the garden tour and you have such an adorable tour guide! That's great that you found another morel and the bleeding hearts are so pretty.

Hey Now!!!!

FF, I guess as long as there was no actual meat on the Wrap I should count myself lucky. Although, who knows? Maybe there was. I don't know if the Morels will become inedible over time. We're sort of watching them mostly to see if our neighbor spots them and takes them.

Unknown, there is always a problem when eating out with Mom. Always. Mayo on a Wrap is what happens in Maryland. Beware. I'm guessing you were Citibiking all weekend, any Mason sightings?

Sarah, thanks for helping me look for the bright side. It was such a gross meal. Yeah, the Bleeding Hearts are pretty interesting. The previous owners of our property planted them.
