WTF Friday

CSA produce was enjoyed at every meal today, starting with breakfast: I loved yesterdays lunch so much, I couldn't wait to have it again today, so I just went for it...
thought about having it again for lunch as well, but opted for CSA Arugula and Tomatoes with Fresh Gourmet Croutons and Goddess Dressing...
Boca Burgers with CSA Tomatoes and Fingerling Potatoes for dinner...
Non-CSA dessert: Three Berry Cheesecake from Vegan Treats via Loving Hut...
Next week is our last CSA order. Just when I was getting the hang of it.

I can't believe how quickly the season has passed, I know our Farmer's Markets don't have too many more weekends either. I hope your final CSA box is spectacular!

Hooray for WFH Friday! Lovely lunch and that dessert. . .Yum.

I had already forgotten about Beet Box and their treats. I'm not a good dessert eater or blogger, apparently! Ha ha! I'll go soon. ;)

You got in a lot of gorgeous veggies! Breakfast was so pretty- the olive garnish is a nice touch. And a great lunch salad too- love the tomato chunks in there.
Is there a fall/winter csa? Some farmers do them, just less frequently. Although nothing really beats summer produce.

I was just going to ask you how much longer the CSA orders would last. Like Ingrid said, it did pass so quickly. They certainly treated you to a lot of great veggies!

That cheesecake sounds terrific.

How sad that the CSA season is almost over! Your use of the boxes has been so impressive and beautiful and you've definitely made me jealous all summer :) Today's meals are no exception. All of the veggies look vibrant and incredible and topping off the day with that cheesecake was perfect!

Hey Now!!!!

Ingrid, I can't imagine forgetting a vegan bakery near my home (or over halfway across the country). Course, I don't have much going on.

Unknown, funny you should ask. There is a fall CSA, but it would not be available for pick-up in the same location, so it would be even more inconvenient to get.

RVs, the Cheesecake was so incredible. Mind-blowing. Probably like that Pineapple Cheesecake you showed once.

Sarah, you would've put the CSA produce to better use. I'm sure you would've eaten the Beets, Eggplant and Turnips. On the other hand, it was nice to serve the pups such fresh veggies rather than the usual baked Yams that usually get.

One of these days I have to muster up the nerve to join a CSA....or plant some of my own darn veggies already! If you have them, you eat them. Unfortunately, the same goes for potato chips.
