Friday, September 27th

My last (till I get to Target) Gardein Breakfast Sandwich for breakfast....
The 'Roasted Veggie Salad' from California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. Warm Artichoke Hearts, Asparagus, Eggplant, Red and Yellow Peppers, Corn and Sun-Dried tomatoes served over cool Romaine and Avocado with Fat-Free Balsamic Vinaigrette...
But that wasn't enough food for me. I had to have a Field Roast Smoked Tomato Deli Slice Sandwich with Vegenaisse when I got home...
Boca Chik'n Patties and a baby CSA Delicata Squash for dinner...
Rice Dream Mint Pie for dessert...
If any local yokels are lurking, I will not be going to DC Vegfest tomorrow, but that should not deter anyone else from going.

So mama decided you were having the salad huh? Lol that's kind of funny. It does look delicious... too bad it wasn't too filling. Dinner looks delicious though and I kind of love those rice dreams ice cream sandwich things. I've only ever had the mint but I think I've seen a mocha flavor. Have you ever tried it?

You got the Gardein sandwiches at Target?! The one here doesn't have much in terms of vegan-ness.

Mike loves the Rice Dream pies. They are quite delicious.

So, do you have any recommendations for must see areas along the Blue Ridge Parkway? We had to change our Colorado plans and are going near your neck of the woods instead. Really looking forward to it!

I'm going to Target today, I'll see what their price is and then decide if I should try them. Ha!

Ooh, I was thinking about Rice Dream Pie recently - they never disappoint.

Hey Now!!!!

Hannah, I was in Montreal at age five and vividly remember the underground there. The underground is a neat aspect of Canada.

Sarah, I can't find the Mocha Rice Dream Pie anymore! I hope it wasn't discontinued.

RVs, yes, I specifically went to Target to look for the Gardein Sandwiches based on Ingrid's intel. The furthest south I've ever been down Route 81 in Virginia is Harrisonburg, which is still north of Waynesboro where the BR Parkway starts. There is this place in Staunton I've always wanted to try::

As your plans firm up I'll try to find out more about the Blue Ridge Parkway, but right now, I've never experienced it. Perhaps I might know some info about the route you are taking before hooking up with the Parkway?

Ingrid, I wouldn't have known about the Breakfast Sandwich if not for you. I need your opinion on it.

VGG, Target is the only place I can find these Breakfast Sandwiches. It's a 'Super' Target. Not sure if a regular Target has them.

This was Toronto and it wasn't underground. I think they meant underground in some sort of hipster sense that I don't understand.
