Kashi Berry Fruitful Cereal with Silk Almond Milk for breakfast...
Red Pepper Hummus, Baby Spinach and CSA Tomato on a toasted Ezekiel English Muffin alongside a bowl of 'Butternut Squash Soup' from The Randy Radish for lunch. The Soup -- Organic Butternut Squash, Organic Sweet Potatoes, Organic Carrots, Onion and Organic Celery -- was sweet, spicy and had a nice velvety texture. Very 'gourmet' for want of a better word. The Hummus Sandwich was pretty good in its own right as well, just not as good as the Soup.
WF's Sesame Grilled Tofu with CSA Bok Choy for dinner. The Bok Choy (not the baby stuff I'm used to) had to be quadruple washed to finally be free of dirt and grit, but it was well worth the effort....
A Hemp Seed Blondie from Le Pain Quotidien for dessert...
Might seem like a predominantly 'brown food' day, but I'm very pleased with the choices I made.

Hemp seed blondie! What did that taste like?
I do owe you. Those hummus and tomato sandwiches save me when I have barely any food in the house!
The soup looks delicious and the hemp seed blondie looks interesting! might have to try it!
That does sound like a great soup- i bet the flavors from the hummus went well with it.
And your tofu always looks so good! Washing the greens sucks, but gritty greens suck more.....i actually had that same hemp seed blondie on monday!! Pretty good, though a little more "fluffy" than i thought it would be.
Not all the bars have such a long drinks list, but its fun to try new ones all the time :)

Damn, maybe I should start going into LPQ again. I never even looked at their baked goods and that blondie looks bangin. And if TT had one, they must be around NYC.
Gritty greens are the worst! I don't have yr patience for washing them.
I completely forgot about that cereal; good lookin out. I usually cut the "butts" off my bok and wash them separately from the leaves; it seems to work nicely (there's a bok butt visual on my blog).
Glad to see you're still enjoying the cereal!
Those tomatoes look so delicious! Tomatoes will always be my favorite hummus sandwich toppers. So fresh and yummy. I had to wash the bok choy I used earlier this week a million times to get rid of the grit too. Yours looks so yummy! ANd a hemp seed blondie, that sounds interesting! How was it?!
Hey Now!!!!
Hannah, the Hemp Seed Blondie tasted like those Nestle Tollhouse Sheet Pan Cookies. Don't know if they had those in Australia, but basically you spread CC Cookie Dough in a sheet pan, bake it and it rises to about 1/2 inch thick and is softer than a Cookie.
VGG, highly recommend the Hemp Seed Blondie. The only LPQ items I ever wasn't in love with were the Hazelnut 'Flute' and Cherry Scone.
Unknown, my LPQ Blondie wasn't 'fluffy' at all. It was dense and chewy. What up wit dat?
FF, you never looked at LPQs baked goods? Is that your way of saying you have more important things to look at? Washing the Bok Choy made me wonder how they did it in olden days when there was no running water. I must've used 10 gallons of water to clean one small serving of Greens.
Abby Bean, call me a Bok Choy novice, I've always bought it pre-bagged from the Asian grocery. Much to learn about this straight from the farmer stuff.
RVs, great recommendation on the Berry Fruitful. I really enjoy it.
Sarah, dirty Bok Choy must be a new thing. The Hemp Seed Blondie was so excellent. Unfortunately, I don't see any LPQs on Long Island. I think you would love that place.
