Gardein Breakfast Sandwich for breakfast. Only one more of these bad boys left, then I hope to try to make my own from 'scratch' after that...
Beyond Meat Chicken Cacciatore, Aloo Gobi and Okra & Potatoes off the WF's Hot Bar for lunch. Not so pretty but tasted great and I made sure not to take too much of the Beyond Meat cuz too much of it doesn't make me feel well...
Found a Theo Mint Bar that was 'best before 2010' in my desk drawer. Enjoyed gnawing on a few pieces of that this afternoon...
Salad from the WF's Salad Bar with CSA Tomatoes, Fresh Gourmet Croutons and Goddess Dressing for dinner...
PPK Marbled Banana Bread for dessert. Yes, it's still around and still considerably moist...
A pretty great food day for me thanks to Gardein, WFs, and PPK. (The Theo Bar was just so so).

Hahaha I bet that chocolate bar was DELICIOUS 3 years ago. I tried the Gardein sausage patties alone and wasn't a huge fan. I like my faux sausage to be very savory and there was a little sweetness to the gardein ones. My fav is Gimme Lean. I've made delicious breakfast sandwiches with Gimme Lean, Daiya Cheddar and Ezekiel english muffins. So good!

Lunch sounds so good! I love everything you find at your WFs hot bar. It always looks so delicious. The PPK bread also looks delicious! Glad it held up ;)

You know what would've made the Theo Bar better, right? Rhymes with schmeanut tutter.

I'm particularly looking forward to your work creating the breakfast sandwich. Then I will learn from you, and do the same. ;)

Glad the tasty 'wich got a ketchup smear there. I wonder what it is that the beyond meat doesn't like you....? Sounds like a good combo with the indian food.
The chocolate bar sounds awesome- except for the part about the experation date....! The salad looks great, the croutons are crucial!
My drink was in a tall cylindar glass, nyc bars are "over" martini glasses unless it is a martini now a days.... Probably cuz they break so easily!! I detoxed today, lots of green juice. My body hates alchohol.

Yum such a good day of eats!

I never thought about mixing the strawberry and praline ice cream but I might just do that!

Can't wait to see your take on a breakfast sandwich.
I would love to try that recipe for the banana bread but I can't eat bananas.

Hey Now!!!!

Sarah, thanks for the idea of using Gimme Lean to recreate the Breakfast Slider. It is the right size to fit the English Muffin.

Hannah, and thanks to you as well for the great idea for saving the old Chocolate Bar. There is no Schmeanut Butter in the office (that I'm aware of), so I may have to haul the rest of the Chocolate Bar home.

Ingrid, I don't know that I can achieve the 'greasy factor' that Gardein somehow infused their Breakfast Sliders with, but I will try.

Unknown, if I eat 'too much' Beyond Meat, I get a headache. I have to really be conservative with that stuff. Alcohol, I'm not as conservative about. I'm very bummed to hear that Martini glasses are now 'out'. I was hoping to be like SJP on SATC when/if I get back to Manhattan. A Cosmopolitan in a Highball Glass doesn't seem the same.

VGG, if you don't mix those Ice Cream flavors, then I will. Another 'no Bananas reader'! VGG meet Unknown. Unknown meet VGG. You both have 'no Bananas' in common.
