and I had my usual, MaPo Tofu...

My mother ordered vegan today, the Coconut Curry Vegetables, which she enjoyed: 

Eggless Egg Salad for dinner.

WTF Thursday

Molly said to just WFH today as well, so I did, and it worked out perfectly. Apparently, nobody in the office noticed I wasn't there. Kashi Autumn Wheat with Almond Milk for breakfast...

A Tofu Reuben carried out from The Randy Radish for lunch...

Along with a Southwestern Style Spring Roll which was really great as well.

Mr. SVegetarian got the Chili Dog.

Wegman's Chickenless Chicken with Steamed Broccoli for dinner. 

The other half of my Brownie from yesterdays Randy Radish carryout for dessert.

Lunch with Mom tomorrow.

WTF Wednesday

Uncle Sam Cereal and Almond Milk for breakfast....

Tofutti Cream Cheese and Cucumber on a toasted Millet & Flax Bagel for lunch...

A Tofu Reuben carried out from The Randy Radish for dinner (it was huge, but I inhaled it in seconds)...

Also carried out: half a Fudge Brownie...hard to prevent myself from eating the other half.

Vegan food is a million times better than non-vegan food.

Uncle Eddies PB CC Cookies for dessert.

Monday, May 27th

For those of us who couldn't get to the beach this weekend, Clare and Don's Beach Shack was there with potent Painkillers...

Fried Dill Pickle Chips...

and a Blackened Tofu Sandwich. 

No need to put on a bathing suit, so Gardein Stuffed Turky with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Steamed Broccoli for dinner.

In belated honor of Hannah's birthday, I was looking for a Peanut Butter dessert to eat and found this old Snap! Bar. Not PB, but really good. Almost Nestle Crunch good.

It's been a successful three days of food consumption. So sad it is over. Fortunately, 'The Bachelorette' returns tonight, so that helps soften the transition back to reality.

Sunday, May 26th

No exotic wild animals spotted today, instead I have an action shot of Mr. SVegetarian grabbing the bread off my plate of  Tofu Scramble this morning at Le Pain Quotidien....

It was a gorgeous day to dine Al Fresco, so we went to Harpers Ferry for lunch at the Canal House.  I started with the 'Eggplant Caponata' $7.50 Italian Relish with Garlic, Capers, Celery, Tomatoes, Onions and Olives served with Fresh Baked Focaccia.

My 'Mediterranean Salad Plate' $9.95 Hummus, Artichokes, Olives, Roasted Garlic, served with House-Baked Bread.

Rising Moon Spinach Florentine Ravioli for dinner....

Sweet & Natural Sweet Potato Cake for dessert.

As usual, the three-day weekend is speeding by faster than the usual two-day weekend.

Saturday, May 25th

Late Breakfast/Early Lunch was at The Common Market. Starting with a cup of the Black Bean Soup while I waited for my...

Tofurky Reuben...Not as good as usual, but still good....and pretty...

Gardein BBQ Skewers and Broccoli for dinner. The package says to serve the Skewers on Pita or Rice, but there happens to be a lot of Broccoli around here.

Chocolate Chip Cookies from The Common Market for dessert. They're no where near as good as Uncle Eddies, but it's important to support local vegan business.

This was an exciting event today. When I was turning on the hose this afternoon in the backyard, a little critter quickly shuffled away from me and hid behind our heat pump. I ran inside to get my camera. Here it is walking in front of the basement door:

I think it is a female Northern Bobwhite Quail. She didn't mind me taking lots of pics from a few feet away. Such a sweetie. Hope she stays safe and sticks around.

Maybe something equally exciting will happen on day two of my vacation.

Friday, May 24th

Lunch was at La Sandia. I had a Margarita De La Casa in honor of VaVa, who is always wanting a Margarita, but never having one. Observe the escalator in the mall in the background.

Mom & I shared some great Chips & Salsa...

and the Guacamole made fresh table-side was the best we'd ever had...

I had the Market Fresh Vegetable Fajitas. All really excellent.

Field Roast Celebration Roast with Imagine Mushroom Gravy and Baked Potatoes for dinner.

No dessert after all that.  Looking forward to the long weekend.

Wednesday, May 22nd

An Organic Fuji Apple and Two Energy Bites for breakfast. This was very satisfying.

Stuff off the WF's Hot Bar (Hot and Spicy Tofu, O'Brien Potatoes! and Chana Masala) for lunch....

'Pea Pesto Pasta w/Shitake Mushroom Bacon, served with a Spring Green Salad' $10 carried out from The Randy Radish for dinner. Wish I hadn't blocked the pic of the Salad part with the little cup of Dressing. The Salad was incredible -- Strawberries, Oranges, Slivered Almonds, Pumpkin Seeds. Could have shoveled in a few pounds of that. The Pasta was great as well, but I was expecting that.

Tofurky Italian Deli Slices on White Bread with lots of Vegenaisse for dessert.

WFH again tomorrow, so that's good.
