Oh, that's what I want for breakfast soon. Love that cereal. BTW, I've been eating vanilla yogurt with the Kashi crunch cereal & strawberries lately, inspired by you. :)

I should have known not to come looking at the blogs when I have tried starting my diet this week. Your omelette looks great. And even cereal is making me feel pained. I haven't eaten bread or cereal in two days. The misery!

So neat you got a pic of the bear. We had a bear loose in our city yesterday - the whole town was abuzz. Poor, poor thing went up in a tree to hide, and they shot it with a tranquilizer and let it land on a kids' bouncy house.

Hooray for WFH Tuesdays and Wednesdays! You are about to start cereal movement of your own, the wheat squares are calling my name.

The pb cupcake looks divine!

I have tunnel vision for that pretzel roll. I want to eat it. Now. Mmmm.

Ok, I'm better now. Loving the return of the cinnamon Kashi and I need to add cauliflower to my grocery list. Roasted cauliflower is probably one of the best side dishes ever.

Those cupcakes look great every time!

Oh, the roast can finally rest in peace...in your belly. It was a pain to make? I saw an old comment of yours (on my original roast post) - did you know when I mention slow-cooked red beans, I mean that you slow cook them? You don't find them in a can. I think you knew that, but I wanted to erase any potential confusion. Also, every time I see one of your sandwiches with a pretzel roll, my TMJ screams out for mercy. How do you unhinge your jaws enough for that? I envy your healthy mandibles.

That sammich looks so good. I may have to check out those pretzel rolls.

I would like to make cupcakes (especially vanilla ones), but how do keep them fresh? Can they be frozen or do you just have to finish them up pretty fast? I'm big on fresh baked goods; I think freshness is an important component of deliciousness.

Hey Now!!!!!

Molly, I'll bet the Kashi 7 Grain and Yogurt mixture is much more exciting with Strawberries. I'll have to try it.

Jenny, I didn't realize the bear pic was from your home town. Poor bear! I hope he/she is okay now.

Ingrid, 19 days till you are home every day with Remy.

VaVa, I've been enjoying such great gluteny foods lately, I can see where you would feel like you're missing out.

Morgan, the Pretzel Bread is pretty fantastic. Hope you get to try it soon.

Blessed Mama, I presoaked the beans overnight, simmered them for two hours. Steamed the Seitan for an hour. The whole shebang. What an ordeal. Anyway, nothing I love more than a 'Dagwood Sandwich'. Very unladylike, but no one sees me.

Miss Rachel, that is an excellent question. I find that vegan food stays fresh naturally for an abnormally long time. I just keep the cuppers in the fidge and they continue to taste fine to my taste buds.
