WTF Wednesday

I'd picked up a box of Cascadian Farms Cinnamon Crunch Cereal for $2.30 at Big Lots several months ago. Finally broke it open this morning to try with some Almond Milk. Good but not as good as Kashi Cinnamon Harvest Cereal (which I had also discovered for the first time at Big Lots).
Tofurky Italian Deli Slices on a WF's Pretzel Roll for lunch.
Blessed Mama's Maple Glazed Seitan Roast with HP Sauce and Roasted Cauliflower for dinner...
This afternoon, Chicky recreated Sunday's iconic pose (after first splashing around in the water dish).
And here is Chicky looking down upon his/her siblings and wondering why they are making such a huge mess for mommy to clean up.
Coming up tomorrow: The last third of my Cherry Danish for breakfast. WF's for lunch.

It all looks delicious. I'm holding out until I feel like going to Trader Joe's to get some cereal. 4+ bux for a wee box is no fun.
What are you feeding the chicks?

Aww they are so cute! I love that you are posting so many pics of them :) They always make me smile!

Great meals as always! I'm with you on the Kashi and you know how I always envy those pretzel rolls. They look so good!

Summer to do list amended to include a trip to Big Lots for vegan-friendly food.

The baby chicks are too cute (and messy). Are chicks like dogs, trying to lick their wounds? When I picked up Remy (rescued from Puppy Mill), he had an umbilical hernia that had to be fixed. I made him wear baby socks so as to discourage scratching. Adorable! He hated me.

Hey Now!!!!!

FF, I wont pay more than $3 for a box of cereal. Just a quirk of mine. The chicks eat specially formulated 'start and grow' crumbles that is sold in feed stores.

VaVa, guess I've given up on trying to be gluten free...speaking of which...

GFTummy, never had it, but you are correct, this cereal does seem like that based on what I know of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Ingrid, if you like browsing junk, Big Lots is for you (I get the vibe you're not much of a junk browser though). So great that you rescued Remy from a puppy mill. Our previous JR Terrier had been in a puppy mill his whole life (@ eight years) but was an absolute delight. Like he'd been the former companion of the Queen of England.

Alessandra, I tried commenting on your blog a few days ago, but it wouldn't let me so I gave up.

Mommy! Aw! I got pretzel rolls last time I was in STL for the fam (but I didn't eat them cuz I think they had sugar), and they were a hit.
